RE: I am confused

There is difference in a 2003 and 2003 from your 2006 expedition. If the ford dealer runs the vin it should come up with everything the vehicle came with originally. We have 06 expedition used to tow our boat that weighs 4950 . just looked and it said 7300 gvwr ,ours has the heavy duty tow package but didn't list the rating.

RE: Sprinter based LTV battery replacement

I used a coupon online from advance auto. Saved 15- 20% online and drove down the street and picked it up. My sprinter is my work van and it gets started 15 to 29 times a day. been 2 yrs ago and still okay.

RE: Forest River Cedar Creek/Silverback frame construction

There's been a lot of changes to cedar creek since 05. CC uses the the hung and glued to the frame fiberglass. Cardinal used the laminate walls. 120 volt household refrig option in CC not in Cardinal. On my third CC and it seems to be the best yet.

RE: Traffic Ticket While On The Road...

I think you caused the trooper to get called out from his dinner or what ever he was goofing off at and he was going to write a ticket. That's the way it is. Over 2000 in damages to your vehicle a office has to be called and he 's mad cause he has get out and do something. There's traffic lawyers in Asheville NC that only charge $75 to appear for you.

RE: Stone Mt., Georgia

You could always take a couple of bicycles with you. I haven't been in a few years to Stone Mt. Its better in warm weather. We used to go on Halloween weekend, but the last time it blew snow almost al way home to Tryon. I-85 got pretty white.

RE: Michelin LTX M/S2 ... OR Comp TA Commercial ???

The local Ford dealer replaced my BF Goodrich tires with Michlens LTX . No charge at all. And my van tires were just about worn out. I would check another authorized tire dealer.

RE: RV Security Systems & Monitoring

Yes with GSM monitoring it can be done. I've thought of it incase the power went off and our dog was inside. They can call your cell phone and tell you whats going on. An text mesage can sometimes take a few minutes for you to get . I am a licensed alarm dealer in western NC. the only problem is in case of fire or burgulary they don't have the rv location.

RE: dodge sprinter

Have you tried a freight liner dealer. Only difference is grill and badges etc . My sprinter came with 4 remote keys . Dealer always ordered with because they are cheaper t hat way. 2008 dodge sprinter used in my business. Dodge no longer has sprinter vans. Only freight liner and MB have them.

RE: Dryer Outlet to power FW

If your dryer plug is four wire you have two hots. one nuetrel and one ground. Same thing you have in your 50 amp rv cable. A range is 50 amp. but the dryer is only fused for 30 amps. So if you make an adapter stay below 30 amps or youll trip the breaker. Most people on here don't realize the 50 amp cord is 240volts not 120 volt but the 30 amp cord and plug is. It can be done but don't use any 120 adapters. Get a 4 wire dryer cord and put a reange receptle on the terminal end. Red to red, black to black , ground to ground , and white to white. Always ok to go to a lower supply becauseit's fused to the lower amperage. Or supposed to be .

RE: 18 cubic ft frig in Cedar Creek Fifth Wheel

The ice maker is set to dump the ice at 13 degrees f. If your freezer is that cold its tripping the icemaker thermostat befor the ice gets frozen all way through. It should only be 5 to 0 degrees for it to work correctly. we do warranty work on whirlpool. Also if the freezer is below 0 it will cause the freezer door to sweat and rust. Set the fresh food control on 3 and wait 24 hrs.

RE: covection/microwave replacement

Yes its the damper door not opening and closing causing it to shut down at 59 sec. I would replace the motor and damper door switch because it has to come out to replace either. Neither part is that much. I have taken out the micros by myself but for most people its a two person job.
