RE: Correct mix formula - 1/2 water and 1/2 coolant??

Also, the newer engines use a different coolant than the old days, Dex-Cool comes to mind, it is usually orange or red. It has a mix ratio of 2 coolant to 1 distilled water to get max benefit from the coolant.

RE: Front Axle Hub temperature higher than rear axle

If you have torsion axles, being nose down will cause the front axle to have more weight on it than the rear.

RE: New tires and new 'wobble'

Look at the tire where it is mounted on the rim. Pay particular close attention to the markings on the tire around the bead. Make sure the markings are evenly spaced from the edge of the rim. The tire may not be centered on the rim. I have had this happen to me at my very reputable tire dealer, I watch the tire monkeys mount and balance ALL my tires, this particular monkey dry mounted all my tires. I had a severe vibration, turned around and went back to the dealer. I looked at the tires and knew exactly what happened. I showed this to the owner and explained how they where mounted. He promptly had all my tires dismounted and remounted properly!

RE: Florida turnpike/Sun Pass

Sun Pass will also give you up to a 25% discount on all tolls.. Also, from wait I understand, sections of the toll road no longer have attended booths, they take a picture of your tag and mail you a bill with a service charge.

RE: Fiver in field

Go pick it up, and wait for the call that it is gone. If no call, ask them to explain why they have not been informed by their security that it is missing.

Beer

beer Woman: Do you drink beer? Man: Yes Woman: How many beers a day? Man: Usually about 3 Woman: How much do you pay per beer? Man: $5.00 which includes a tip (This is where it gets scary !) Woman: And how long have you been drinking? Man: About 20 years, I suppose Woman: So a beer costs $5 and you have 3 beers a day which puts your spending each month at $450. In one year, it would be approximately $5400 …correct? Man: Correct Woman: If in 1 year you spend $5400, not accounting for inflation, the past 20 years puts your spending at $108,000, correct? Man: Correct Woman: Do you know that if you didn’t drink so much beer, that money could have been put in a step-up interest savings account and after accounting for compound interest for the past 20 years, you could have now bought a Ferrari? Man: Do you drink beer? Woman: No Man: Where’s your Ferrari?

RE: Winegard Carryout Question

Yes, it needs to be connected to the receiver. And the receiver needs to be powered on before you power on the Carryout. Once everything is setup and the Sat's found it is good to go.

RE: problem with satellite cable

Run a cable directly from the receiver to the View cube, bypassing all cabling in the trailer. If it works, you don't have and will need a dedicated cable for the satellite. It cannot go through any splitters or the amplifier.

RE: Dish Antenna

The Satellite connection is a dedicated cable straight to the receiver, bypassing any splitters and amplifiers.

RE: Engine problem Pace Arrow 1986 model.

Make sure the pulleys are tight on the shafts. I had an alternator installed and the tech did not get the pulley tight enough. It eventually became loose and started to spun on the shaft and wallered the hole out in the pulley and let the belt go.
