RE: Do you ever hear about used awnings for sale

Craigslist is a good source for this, I bought one used a few years ago, and now have one for sale on there myself. Obviously mine wont help your freinds, but tell them to look there.

Public Opinion needed on AC Unit

I have a new to me (Never installed) Polar Cub AC Unit. I bought a pull behind camper a few years ago, and it came with it. The previous owner had it still shrink wrapped on a pallet in his shop. It needs the Control unit (Inside Panel) that can be pick up for around $100. The Unit is rated at 9200 BTU, and weighs roughly 90 lbs. It has the option for added 5600 BTU Heat assembly if you buy that part also. Do you guys think this unit would be over kill and not worth the Hassle to install it, Or in your opinion would it be worth it? I dont camp as much as id like, or as i used to because of work, and family. Id like to eventuallygo more, or get a permenant site again. Lets hear it? :h

RE: How do I haul water to my camper ?

We have a Friend who Uses a Totewith lid From Walmart, that he Plumbed a 12 Volt Pump into and uses that to fill his. He has had a permenant Lot for years and still uses this method instead of drilling a well. Works great.

RE: Suspension Help for slide in truck camper

Im only sorry I couldnt help more. You will find the TC (Truck camper) Guys and gals are a great group. You will ocasionally, of course, run acrossed a few who are grummpy from time to time and make sure you know they are "Experts", but not a whole lot of that going on. Welcome aboard, Enjoy the Ride. :)

RE: New Scam RV's 4 Sale using US Military

This is not a New Scam, I have run acrossed it a few times. I make it a point to report it to the FBI Cyber Crimes Division, And then let them know i did. I am Im the Military and think it is discusting that they would do this sort of thing. I wish the New updated stolen Vallor billed passed would also cover that, but it doesnt. Ive Played them back and forth a few times and actually gotten them to slip up and reply from a different Email, Or use a different name. Good Job Catching it.

RE: Suspension Help for slide in truck camper

For Best Resuls, You should have Posted this in the Truck camper Forum. They would have the Most Knowledge Base to help. Hopefully a MOD will move it for you. That Being said, If you do a search for this topic, you should see a TON of the same questions being asked, And most of them get the same answers you will. I cant really give any advice on the Topic, But figured a heads up on what might help you get the answers would be good.

RE: Where do you store your generator gas?

One more thing, people will jump on here and compare propane to gasoline down to the penny per hour. We bought the propane Yamaha because it would be convienent to not have to carry gasoline. We camp to meet people, see the country and have fun. The nice clean Yamaha helps us do that. Is that Plumbed in to your House Propane? or Do you have a seperate cylinder for that?

RE: Inside Shower vs Outside Shower

I have NO shower in my TC. My TT has one and we use it. Id like my Next one, No matter what kind, to have and inside, and outside one. Our friends and my paents have Outside ones and as said before they are great for feet, Kids, and Dogs. Do you have an Alaskan? No, I have an older sunline.

RE: Camping World CREATING its' own negative public perception

Id Have to agree with the Man on this one (Good Sam Care Team). At least they Respond and not shut it down Completley. If a person complains and WANTS to post what resoloution they get, They are more than able.... Just my 2 cents worth.
