RE: connect my sewer lineinto my home sewer system

If you had your own Septic System, Id say yes, BUT on a "City" Service, I doubt it. Here in PA where i am, You have to get Special permit to attach your Home to it, and they Inspect it. Your best Bet is to call your local Municipality that handles your sewer, and ask them.

RE: Replacing shore power cable for plug.

Thats the Same Type Plug Fire/Rescue trucks and Ambulances have. My only Concern would be, What Amperage can it handle.

RE: First Trip

Just curious why did you buy a 450? Are you planning on a MUCH LARGER RV? The big question is "why not?" When ordering, I priced up a 350 and a 450. When I added the options and packages I wanted to each truck, there was only about $3000.00 difference between the two. When you're looking at $67,000 msrp for a new truck, what's another $3000.00? For that additional money, I gained 2500# in 5th wheel / goose-neck towing capacity. And while I don't anticipate a bigger RV in my future, if I did want to go bigger, I don't have to lose my butt on the truck trading it in for something to tow a bigger trailer. I know what I have will tow anything I would ever need it to tow. Throw in that I defy any 350 truck to ride better, turn shorter or out-perform this truck, and there's just no reason to not go with the 450. Randy LOL I just spit my tea out while reading this comment. Thanks, You made my day. I must admit though, I agree. Go Big or go Home.LOL

RE: wadautink?

Could and Should are two Completley different answers. Your truck CAN haul it, but IMHO you shouldnt. Thats alot of work for the truck.

RE: Off-road capable RVs

I Agree 100% with the Votes For a TC, and im thinking a Pop Up may be your better Choice due to lower COG. depending on your Location and when you plan on using it determines wether this is a Viable option for you or not though.

RE: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?

Well it wasnt today, But this past weekend i ran a test with my New Chicago 2 Cycle Generator that i got for Christmas. The 900 Watt Max did Everyting i wanted it to and didnt seem to stress it. I ran the Fridge, and all the Lights, and then periodically ran water just to test it. Went through a little more than 1/2 a tank in about 6 hours. I will add Pictures later whn i get home from work. :C
