RE: New to TC

The Box Idea is a good one, and shouldn't be that hard, the permanent tie down however, you may want to rethink. Imagine your on the road and your truck breaks down with transmission, or driveline, or anything under the undercarriage. If the camper cant be removed, the garage will need figure out how to lift it with the camper on there. I had an issue once, where the garage made me take the TC off just for an inspection. just My opinion though.

RE: Moose Hillock Campground (NY) Lawsuit

I would have no issues camping here. To me it sounds like a land dispute that has gotten out of hand. I think the Cemetery people are over reaching a little, but can understand the want for access to the grounds.

RE: car hauler trailer

Search for a Uhaul one that is for sale. They sell them a lot, and make great trailers.

RE: Going RV

It's a very staged program. I even found the Facebook pages for some of the 'buyers' and there is no mention of the new RV. Those people in the show never bought the RV. Show is a scripted fake. Not sure if that's entirely true. One episode profiled the Wynn's who have a youtube channel that shows the rv they bought in the show. https://www.youtube.com/user/gonewiththewynns Pretty entertaining vlog. I subscribe to their channel. I love them.

RE: Going RV

The episode I am watching the salesman showed them a quad slide fifth wheel with a dry weight of 12k. Their tow vehicle? A Ran 1500 short bed. lol But the New ones are lighter. I could pull that with my Dodge Dart right? ;)

RE: camper bed a bit claustrophobic, anyway to get over it

I guess my question is (and this is an honest question), If you know you have an issue with tight spaces, Why would you buy the most cramped space type of RV on the market? Was it necessity, or need? Was it on a whim? If I had an issue with tight spaces, id be looking more at a 5th wheel, or a class A or C with an open bed room floor plan.

RE: How can WE control what we see?

I realize it's those folks that keep these forums VERY entertaining! I couldn't agree More. Sometimes I surf just looking for the threads that got way out of control, just to read the banter. lol :W

RE: Working at Walt Disney for holidays

My Uncle drove Bus for them for a few months, and then hit the road again. He loved it. I also have a friend who works there as security full time. She also loves it. Both have said its a friendly work environment, other than the occasional Rude guest.

RE: Renovating my Rig

An RV will wear faster than a stick build house. Up side to that, it costs less to fix things in an RV. On a side note, What's your MOS? I'm currently a 68W.
