RE: Fixing water damage on the old Dodge (pics)

It's like waiting for your favorite team to make the playoffs. I can't stop checking for new updates.

RE: N1H1 Swine Flu Vaccine availability en route

I write this after spending the last 3 days flat on my back in bed. With a MILD case of H1N1. I just hope my wife and kids don't get sick. Oh yea. I had to call in sick for my 24hr. Part-time shift with a ambulance company. 72 hours a week taking sick people to tbe hospital, and I can't get a shot but 300 entitled people in Boston can ???

RE: Maceator question.............

I was thinking of installing one on the sewer line. I think I will wait, its hard to justify cost for 4-5 weeks a year.

RE: N1H1 Swine Flu Vaccine availability en route

Good luck getting it in the states. I saw a news story showing a clinic in Boston giving out 300 doses to the first people in line that wanted something for free and must have had the day off from work. Got to love that proirity list. Lets see......seniors, compromised imune systems patients, ems workers, nurses,... Unemployed drains on society go right to the front.

RE: rv mat sale

I bought a mat this season. I love it. We don't put it on grass, just concrete pad or hard packed gravel. Its nice to step out of the rv onto a mat and not have to worry about shoes.

RE: How long is too long?

My TT is 36' when measured bumper to hitch. I have been to some nice " RV resorts " in New England and have had a tight squeeze in most sites. The worst was the most expensive.( wells, ME Pull through, TT bumper was at road edge and truck bumper was just over the line on the oppisite end of site.) And the places with the biggest sites were average priced.( sandwich, MA ) But even the tight sites were worth it. Location to beach is everything.

RE: Living on MH on a plot of land?

I would love to do that, but I would have to be on a lake or ocean.

RE: Pee Pads For Rainy Days

I have used pee pads. I put one on the kitchen floor and stand in the middle of it and pee. It works great at night when I don't want to walk to the bathroom.

RE: I smell a rat on rv park reviews..

Whenever I read reviews, I always discard the Best reviews and the worst reviews. Unless all of them are telling me the same thing. some people might like to be next to a dumpster for a week and give a great review because the walk to dump trash is so short. And some people might like to be on top of their neighbors, and have to walk through their campsite to dump your tanks. Everyone likes different things.

RE: Fixing water damage on the old Dodge (pics)

Good to see you are working. I work about 60-80 hours a week myself, so I can relate. Earning money to support my family is priority number one. The shed looks good. Keep up the good work.

RE: Garmin or Tom-Tom GPS

We were on cape cod last week. We went to the christmas tree shop in bourne and I saved it as a favorite. The next day I tried to select it as a destination and I got " route not available ". WHAT !!!!!! Also, try to find a hospital emergency room while traveling, you will get every clinc, doctors office, god knows what else, between you and the hospital. Good luck after business hours or on a weekend.
