RE: Pee Pads For Rainy Days

I have used pee pads. I put one on the kitchen floor and stand in the middle of it and pee. It works great at night when I don't want to walk to the bathroom.

RE: I smell a rat on rv park reviews..

Whenever I read reviews, I always discard the Best reviews and the worst reviews. Unless all of them are telling me the same thing. some people might like to be next to a dumpster for a week and give a great review because the walk to dump trash is so short. And some people might like to be on top of their neighbors, and have to walk through their campsite to dump your tanks. Everyone likes different things.

RE: Fixing water damage on the old Dodge (pics)

Good to see you are working. I work about 60-80 hours a week myself, so I can relate. Earning money to support my family is priority number one. The shed looks good. Keep up the good work.

RE: Garmin or Tom-Tom GPS

We were on cape cod last week. We went to the christmas tree shop in bourne and I saved it as a favorite. The next day I tried to select it as a destination and I got " route not available ". WHAT !!!!!! Also, try to find a hospital emergency room while traveling, you will get every clinc, doctors office, god knows what else, between you and the hospital. Good luck after business hours or on a weekend.

RE: What's wrong with this picure

The awning is out, and everyone is in the sun. Or the ford has bad ball joints.

RE: How far do you let your kids get away from your site?

Being careful is not living in constant fear. I agree kids need to be kids and explore and have fun. But, I also believe parents need to be parents and protect our children.

RE: Blue ox W/D hitch

Just a quick update. I recieved a new W/D hitch head from blue ox, I downloaded the installation instructions, and ordered the correct hitch ball with a 2 inch rise. After teaching myself how W/D works, I was able to install and adjust this unit properly. I also installed new ball joints in the ford. What a difference. It works great. I even let the wife have a turn behind the wheel. Thanks for the help.

RE: Why do they let stupid people drive trucks?

Its not just truckers. Most people that merge onto a highway don't look. I tow in the right lane because I drive at or just below the speed limit. If I had a dollar for every time I have seen a cell phone followed by a dirty look.

RE: Need compact, point & shoot camera

One feature our sony H20 has is an automatic smile recognition button. You press the button, point the camera at someone, and when they smile it takes a picture. Fun to play with.

RE: Propane regulator problem

Propane regulator problem

I have a duel tank single regulator set up. Like most campers have. It has the auto switch over feature. The problem is that one side does not work. I flipped the switch, opened one tank, opened both tanks, swapped tanks (the problem doesn't follow the tank). I can not get one side to work. Before I replace the regulator, does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks for the help.

RE: Need compact, point & shoot camera

We replaced our older sony cybershot with the sony cybershot H20. We love it. We did the research, went to target and tried a lot of different models and found the H20 takes the best picture. Look at bestbuy.com for price. The store will honor the internet price.

RE: keystone and northwood

My keystone is not a luxury model, and I wish the finish work was a little better. But, we got a lot of camper for the money. I would buy another one tomorrow.

RE: How far do you let your kids get away from your site?

My kids don't go anywhere without a parent. I feel sorry for other kids that have full run of the CG. Why invite trouble, keep your kids safe. Not every camper is a pedofile, but I can't tell who is safe just by looks or a quick conversation.

RE: First trip in our new TT, almost destroyed the slide.

One more quick one. I opened our slide once, and it made a new noise. Nothing real bad so I kept going. I went outside to hook up the utilities and found our family name sign on the ground. It WAS in the kitchen before we left. Live and learn.

RE: First trip in our new TT, almost destroyed the slide.

We had a cabinet door open on us too. You can't see if the door is open from the slide switch location. The slide skipped a few teeth on one side, and slight molding damage. We now use a small bungee cord to hold doors closed.

RE: Cellphone long-distance charge in local calling area!!

I don't know about AT&T, but cingular had a small coverage area. We would be roaming in the white mountains, about two hours from home.
