RE: Dodges Marketing Director should be FIRED

Having seen the new Ram commercial my only thought was WHAT!, have they lost their mind? Is the AD firm giving drugs to their folks? I hope they fire the idiots that came up with that dribble! I am a Ford guy but I think Dodge has a nice truck but that IS NOT going to sell them.

RE: Is a GMC 3500 enough for a 18,500# Teton

This is a joke, right? Would anyone actually consider doing this? I am not one to suggest MORE govt regulation but it may be needed.

RE: Ford 250 V10

If you want to save big money up front and don't expect to race up 10,000 ft mtns at 80 mph, and 9-10 mpg towing doesn't scare the bejeebers out of you then the Ford SuperDuty V-10 may be a good fit. I get about 12-12.5 around town, better on the highway, 9-10 towing. I have the 2009 version with the 4.10 rear gear. This is the best and most powerful truck I have ever owned. I love to come to the stop lights with the little tuner cars next to me that think they are so fast, I do like to have my fun. It is the best of all worlds for me. If you want one you better hurry, it is being discontinued in the SuperDuty F250, and F350 in 2011

RE: Stop the shaking

I made my own stabilizer from instruction on this site. IMHO any the stabilizing systems mentioned will do the job. Difficulty of installation will very slightly. Mine took about 4 hrs, mostly because I made some slight changes for my particular 5vr. Now 5vr is rock steady. Mine involves loosening and tightening a wing nut on rear and wing nut on front when setting up and breaking down.
By the way, my supplies totaled $40.00 complete, which includes wrench for wing nuts.
Could you re post how you did that, a lot of us have this issue

With the name Nascar on it only the upper echelon of income earners will be able to afford it and you will always wonder if it is rigged.

RE: New site Format

I guess as far as reviews go that's a start. I would give mine of the IT prowess demonstrated here but I want to hang around a little longer. I have already been banned from 1 camping site, not trying to repeat.

RE: Gas tow vehicles

I guess the new 6.2L will have about the same HP as the 6.8L v10 and enough power for general use in the SD F250/F350 pickups.
While the 6.2 8 banger will have the horsepower (at high RPM's) it will not match the torque of the V-10 and that is the tradeoff that Ford has decided to go with. I am glad I got my V-10 when I did.

RE: Gas tow vehicles

It's been discontinued for 2011 in the Super Dutys, except I guess as carringb states, the F350 DRW.
Then how about this?
V10 in 2011 F450 & F550 Chassis Cabs
Come 2011 the V-10 will only be available in the F-450 and up for pick ups.

RE: MSN reports hasard to pedestrians especially in Florida

That is why they are putting up cameras to catch the red light runners.
The police cruisers are still "following the herd" thru after the light turns red.
Yet I saw on TV they are ticketing people who fail to come to a complete stop before turning right on red.
So it's just a cash cow for the city and has nothing to do with traffic control.
I too prefer the laws, enforcement & general attitude of Texas. They just seem more logical.
Have fun in Texas

RE: Ford and Ram gaining market share

To carefully compare the Ford, Dodge, GM twins, Tundra and Titan is to understand why Ford and Dodge sales are up.
So please enlighten us. I would like to know why for investment purposes.
"Enlightment" is rarely followed with understanding or acceptance.
So true and I completely understand your original statement.
