Google Alaska sheepskins or Alaska leather. They sell quality sheepskins. Sorry but unable to remember the exact business name.

RE: stealth in a excel/wide body?

Hi we just purchased a Pleasure way and have had no problem with stealth parking. We have overnighted in many different types of RV's and this is difinitely the easiest of any we have had. Get it an join the PW owners group and they will give you many ideas. Leave the awing it doesn't make a difference.

06 PW Excel TS 3788 KM We stole it

We have been looking for a B class for a while now. A friend of ours who is not well bought this new in July 07. Sorry to say his health went down hill fast and it has sat for the last 2 years at his home. Out of the blue he calls my wife and offers her the vehicle because he knows we will use it. It has been on a charger and he kept a heater inside to keep the moisture out. We got it home today and started going through it. Its in like new shape on the inside. Haven't tried the generator yet but everything else works. We had a 1st right of refusal for a 1999 and when our friend heard what we were going to pay he said get his instead which we did. Some times things do work out.

RE: Anyone fulltiming in a toyhauler?

RE: Looking for the ONE. Which one is it?

Hi I have owned two toy haulers both Heartland, one 5vr and now a Torque 261 bumper pull. The Torque would probably meet your needs. As for side opening ramps I can only speak from what others have told me, which as stated earlier small ramp doors and cramped garages. I have spoken with owners who sold their side ramp TH for the conventional rear ramp. So do your research and get what works for you.

RE: Should or shouldn't I???

To me its not just the engine and drivetrain, I can fix or replace all that. But my truck has a super hitch on the back a front hitch, air bags, and upgraded shocks. You add all that to a new truck plus some other additions (4 inch exhaust ect.) and replacing my truck is way to expensive. Yes I do have a 06-6.0 but have over time tried to bullet proof my engine and so far its working. Bob

RE: Drain Lines in Freezing Weather

I wrapped some foam pipe insulation around the short drain lines. This was when we were traveling in Nov. and Dec and would only be in freezing weather at night. Plus we were boondocking so elec heat tape was not and option. But I think a box type of inclosure with just a light bulb might work when stopping at night along with my insulation. Good luck Bob

RE: Heartland Prowler thoughts?

I have not had your specific model but we have bought 2 Heartland Toy haulers and except for some minor repair issues which the company took care of quickly and under warranty we have no problems with the unit or Heartland. Check out Heartland.com and search for your specfic unit. Owners tell all the good and the bad. This should give you a better insight into the unit. Good luck Bob

RE: Non-skid material suggestions needed for toy hauler ramp

I put down industrial non skid strips as our door becomes very slippery when wet. They are like stair treads except more like sandpaper on top. Comes on a roll you can cut any size needed and place anyplace you wish. I got some from Walmart.

RE: Does Anyone Can??

My DW cans vegetables every summer but my favorite is Canned Salmon. She had to start when we ran out of freezer room and we have 3 freezers. British Columbia greatest fishing around.

Comparison Thor verse Coachman

Hi need your thoughts. We looked at 2 coaches today. A Coachman Mirada 29DS SE $80,000 and a Thor Ace 27 for $85,000. Both are 2013 and new. Features to us were comparable. Just wondering about quality build of the coaches. We will be living in the coach for about 6 months a year. We do not want to go longer. Thanks for any thoughts and ideas.

RE: Fueling Station

Hi my fueling station pump was stolen. I still have the gas tank and gas lines available. RV dealerships and the factory wanted over $1000.00 just for the transfer pump and hook up parts. I found this on line. Northern Tool and Eqip. Item # 1096009. Deisel fuel transfer pump, model #DPD045A Price is around $170.00. It may work for you. I haven't bought it as I just went with a hand pump nozzel because I don't use it very often. I just use good ole gas cans. Best of luck Bob

RE: Hiking in BC: trying to narrow down the options!

Northern west coast of Vancouver Island BC has many areas and virtually no other people. Sorry I can't be more specific as we stay more on the Eastern side of the Island. But its all good plus many lake areas where you can boon dock. We kayak and fish more than hike. But its all great.

RE: RV port/garage

Hi we built a 35x45 steel building it is 19 foot high at the center. the door is 10x14ft high. I have a overhead garage type door. The door opens to about 13' 6" which allowed the 5th wheel to be put inside. If I had to do it again I would make the door 12 foot wide. Other than that it works fine but even at 45 ft a 36 ft FW takes up most o the space.

RE: Opinions on Heartland Torque lineup

We have had 2 Heartland toy haulers. A Roadwarrior 5vr and now a Torque 261 bumper pull. We only had minor problems with both and Heartland service took care of all of them. We were told to pick a RV center of our choice to get warranty work done. Every time I have spoke with them I received good service. Go to Heartland.com and look at forums. Pick the Toque forum and you can read about them from actual owners. We like the TQ for the price. Good luck
