RE: 2015 Itasca 27N review

In my opinion Winnebago is pushing production over competent construction methods. In reading numerous posts over the last four years Winnebago's quality has suffered. Fred

RE: My solution to Sleep Number mattresses bursting...

After nine years of travel I still don't find it to difficult to push the button on the remote and air the matrass "down" before a big change in attitude. It doesn't seem hard to me, and I am lazy. We have been doing that, but forgot this time. Should just add it to the checklist..... Jeff Yep, put it on the checklist, we added it years ago. Fred

RE: Does A/C turn off automatically climbing hills ? Ford F53

In the early 2000's this was a well know problem with F53 chassis. The fix at that time was a larger vacuum canister. I believe Ford issued a service bulletin on this issue. Fred

RE: Possible Fuel Fiter Problem ???

Sorry folks, I change my filter every two years, buy fuel a major suppliers, never had a fuel problem. However plugs and plug wires are another issue, replaced twice when the symptoms mentioned in the OP were present. Fred

RE: Winnegard Rayzar automatic

If you are near, within 20 mi., major cities, no problem. As Smitty77 stated further away the Sensor works better. We are currently 45-47 mi. from Seattle, my neighbor gets "A few" OTA with his auto Winegard, or Sensor gets 16 stations. Fred

RE: Flush Fit Slides vs Flange

Our '05 Dolphin has flush slides, some will say it's a selling point, IMO "if it works" that's what matters. Fred

RE: Tires replaced

Sorry, my bet is not on entry level tires manufactured in China. Warranties at Les Schwab's is a good thing, but after you have experienced a catastrophic event the warranty may leave you feeling empty. So you went from a known good product to a ????? over the highway truck tire???? to save $1,000? Fred

RE: Voltage at the pedestal

I'm using the LP for hot water. I tried switching the refrigerator (a Norcold) to LP, but got an "F" on the display panel. I assume that means there's a fault, so I've switched it back to the electric mode. The refrigerator is turned off when we drive and then we use the sites electricity to run it. The site is dead level fore and aft and port and starboard. Thanks again, Chris The "F" fault code indicates the burner failed to light. Possibly air needs to be bleed from the system, try a couple of times prior to getting service. Fred

RE: Water heater for a Winnebago Vista 27N

Sounds like the Motoraid system is working as it should, check your manuals in the plumbing section. Fred
