So, what's the deal with this guy. His Looks?? What's that got to do with Football? Several people mention his looks ... weird.
Everyone knows that good looking people are smarter, stronger, faster, more agile, smell better, have straighter teeth, have a better speaking voice, have better hair and don't pick their nose while driving.
Actually I don't get it either. It just seems everyone thinks good looking people are just ever so special..........:h

Everything that is said by someone they laugh hysterically. I have yet to laugh at anything.
Humor isn't funny anymore.
It's all based on sexual innuendo, profanity and bodily functions.
Henny Youngman never used profanity in his routines. When asked why he replied, "If a joke isn't funny without profanity it won't be funny with it."
Evidently these new young comedians and "personalities" think profanity is funny all by itself.
They would be wrong. I ignore them all.

I quit watching tv news about 4 years ago.
When newscasters became tv stars and news media started competing for ratings points and commercial revenue it was no longer news.
They chase dead bodies all day long, interview the nearest relative and invade their privacy and interfere in their need to mourn and collect their lives. Then they move on to the next story with a smile on their face and do it all over again..
I can't remember the last time something on the news directly affected or influenced my life.
It is just one long disaster film on a continuous loop.

There isn't much real about this show, but I assumed the documents were real. The people on this show are not just walking in off the street. You have to apply to the producers to get on the show. The Pawn Shop guys that seem so smart and are able to spout off all about the item off the top of their head can only do that because they knew the item that was coming in the door and researched it in advance.
You mean it's not real??? But...but.....but it's reality tv!!!
Oh man there goes everything that makes sense in my universe.:R

I don't even watch tv anymore. It's all boring and childish.

We turned off our phone ringers and let the answering machine take all calls.
We communicate with all our friends by email so anything on the phone is usually junk.
And yes, we have a spam filter on our emails that bounces and automatically deletes any email from anyone not on our friends list.
If they aren't on that list we don't even see the email.
It is actually so easy it is a bit silly.

I spent a part of my internship at the state mental facility.
And yes, I was working there and not a patient.:B
I enjoyed that opportunity very much and coming in to this forum quite often brings back fond memories.:R

That pretty much covers it for me. It seems lately that "sci-fi" movies don't even try to be consistent or "scientific".
I believe that is why they are called science "fiction".
Novels and movies that are based in scientific principles are categorized as "hard science" fiction. There are a lot of novels of that genre out there. Almost no movies. 2001 is the last one I can think of that might be classified that way.
Today, a science fiction movie usually means Billy Bob is actually a crime fighting Petunia from the planet Thlor.
