RE: Tire valve access

I have been using the same tool that RSchleder uses for the past three years with no problem on my 3500 Sprinter. The hardest part is removing the chrome wheel cover. No....maybe putting it back on and lining up the holes and slots for esthetic purposes is the hardest part. :B My inner wheels have light weight white plastic extensions. I leave them on. Haven't had an issue with them at all. I do find that, for me anyway, if I have the outer wheel valve at the 9 o'clock position it is easier checking that tire. Go figure.

RE: TOWING A VEHICLE (TOAD) WITH A CLASS B

Spring seems to be in a holding pattern.
Here, too, Karsty. No snow, but a bit chilly for April in central Florida (at Ocala NF this weekend). Last week it was every bit summer temps and humidity.

RE: Water temperature gauge on 2007 sprinter

Yep. Scanguage II. You won't find water temp on your dash. Reasonably priced, easy to install and set up. More info than you will regularly need. I mounted mine at the A pillar base on the dash.

RE: Island/Pedestal Table: Ever use?

If we use a table it's the rear table. We usually eat outside or use lap boards. Can't recall ever using the front table.

RE: Washing your B.

Wash and wax it myself. Use a water only, hand mitt, & ladder. Wax once per year. (thank goodness there islots of window space on the Sprinter :B)

RE: Scan Gauge with a Sprinter Van

Doug ... why do you display the LOD?
Just to keep an eye on engine load. More often in hill country. Certainly not here in Florida. Like to keep it at or below 70% when practical. Seems to improve mileage some and certainly less stress, than when bogging the engine down.

RE: Scan Gauge with a Sprinter Van

The Scan Gauge does have the advantage of just sitting there all time without the care and feeding a smart phone would entail. :)
That's what I like about the Scan Gauge. I use the LOD, Water Temp, Boost and voltage. I mounted it in the left corner of the dash. I have the Droid app and OBDII unit from Ebay which works great, too, but....

RE: Firefox 13.0.1

Sometimes it will not load web pages right for me.
I can open IE and it has no problem with the same web page.
FF didn't do that before the upgrade.
Same here. But, so far, only Pandora and Gameday on MLB.com. So, I go back to using IE9 when I'm listening to those two. Haven't found any others that don't open. Strange. I even uninstalled and re-installed. Still the same.

RE: Spotify vs Pandora or other music player?

Both of them will use ALOT (AND I MEAN ALOT) of your monthly data usage...
Amen to that!!! I listen on my iTouch. When I can't get wi-fi, I just listen to the too many tunes I've downloaded. I tried Spotify for a while, but have gone back to Pandora. I like them playing new tunes they think I migtht like and don't know about.

RE: CG near Atlanta

I vote for Stone Mountain. You can take a bus to downtown from there. I recommend MARTA over trying to park downtown.

Works for me, too. There's instructions? I wouldn't have read them anyway. ;)
