I registered JaneAnn and myself for the Rally today. Sorry I was so late to do so and thanks to all who have inquired as to our status.
As most of you know, I have been struggling with stenosis in my back for about 6 or 7 years and am getting close to having to do the inevitable, back surgery. I have an appointment on April 16 at Mayo for final opinion and that will determine whether we can go or not.
Thank you all for your concern and here's hoping we can make the Rally. I will let you know for sure after April 16.

Since some people have questioned whether the normal dates for our annual Rally might not be the most advantageous for the Kinchelo, MI site, our hosts Bob and Shaaron, together with the campground, have decided to be flexible on the dates for B-10. In that regard, I have been asked to do a survey to decide which week the Rally will be held. All of dates offered in the survey are available and the hosts want to make this the best Rally ever from start to finish. Please rank your date choices (rank all dates first choice to fourth choice) by completing this short SURVEY.
The voting will end by August 31.

Bob and Shaaron,
Thanks for entering a site for B-10. The movie took a while to load with my MIFI but finally did. Pictures might be just as good. The price certainly is right. If you are selected, you will have an "army" of people (including myself and JaneAnn) to help. I was beginning to wonder if anyone was going to put up a site.

I just want to send a big thank you from Arlene and myself for a wonderful B9 rally. Every aspect of the rally was A1. Thank you to all who were involved in the making of such a success.
We found some of the best rails to trails cycling paths on our return home in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
We will be going out to Kitchener next week for a few days to see if we can find a suitable campground for your consideration for the Big 10 Rally.

I wish I had my camera ready when the hypnotist said those words "the cow is a bull". The look on Arlene's wrinkled and disgusted face is in my head forever!

Here is a picture of the plaque we gave Chris and Nick. It is bordered with all of our individual pictures from the Rally that David took. Sorry it is kind of small here but you get the idea. The plaque is walnut-like wood with an acrylic cover. It is actually 10.5 inches by 13 inches wide.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned but really needs to be: A big thanks to Chris for the thoughtful and "practical" gifts included in the Rally welcome bags. Many of those items found a place in our rig right away!

JaneAnn and I have arrived back home and want to add our Kudo's to Nick and Chris for a wonderful Rally. A special big thanks to Nick and Jim for all of their hard work at getting sponsors on board. Speaking from experience, it takes a very talented person to do this and they have "the right stuff". My small part with coffee was no big deal; especially with my heavy duty timer that allowed me to "sleep in" til 7:00 each day. Chris, you did a wonderful job with the food and being sure all of the condiments, paper goods, paper plates, etc. were there (something that is easily forgotten). The entertainment was also great! Hope to see you all at a mini rally sometime and if not; we will see you at B-10 next year!
