RE: dish aiming??

Camper is setup for satellite. I have a tailgater working right now but want to have a regular dish so I dont have to put it away every week. I will recheck plumb and all settings.

RE: dish aiming??

Mast is plumb. And I think im reading all measurements correctly. I watched a video on YouTube showing set up and I did the same. I even checked out someone elses dish near me and they have the same settings. And it seems to be in the same direction I am trying. I feel the issue is in the 211k. I read they are finicky when setting up

dish aiming??

Ok, im at a loss so hopefully someone here can help. I have a tailgater with a 211k now working. I have a seasonal so I am trying to switch to a 1000.2 hd dish on a tripod to make things easier for my wife. I cannot get even a hint of a signal with the new dish. I have an analog meter and the elevation and skew are what the installation manual claim. I even bought a second lnb just to be safe. Today I used a phone app to get tje dish close then used the meter to hone in on the signal. Then I unplugged my 211k for 15 minutes and ran a check switch but nothing. I have been at this for a few weekends now. Does anyone have any suggestions before I pay dish to line this thing up. I dont think this is that difficult but apparently im wrong. Also I am in grayling mi for the install

Many times better than the concerttone I used a piece of oak lament flooring to fill the hole let me know if you want pic's? Gary Great idea!!!! What blue tooth transmitter did you use. I want one now.

RE: Help me convince "FHU only" friends to try electric only CG

If you see a line at the CG dump & there is an empty FHU site that you can get into & out of quickly, use that. In & out in minutes. I can't believe this I never thought of this. Seen like such a good idea at so many places

RE: Tonneau cover use with a vented 5er tailgate??

I have a tonneau pro and vented 5er tail gate that I leave on all summer. No issues, I don't see any ballooning at all. Only issue is dust in the bed from dirt road driving.

RE: Any Radio Controlled Enthusiast out there???

I picked up a rustler to use while camping and now I have 3 since my kids each wanted one. They are definitely addicting when it comes to upgrading and accessories like chargers and batteries. Now I have a quad copter and I really need to get better with it.

RE: best dish for dish network

I (and several others I know of) use Hopper & Joeys in our RVs. I highly recommend them because most times you can use existing RV coax to hook up the Joey receivers and they provide a Whole House DVR. I'm surprised to hear this. I have a hopper at my house and they had to change my wiring to a newer cable for my joeys to connect consistently. I am interested in this though. How much extra is it to run? is it just $7 for the hopper and $7 per joey? I was looking at the 722k and using a coax out to the bedroom, but if I need 2 coax's from the dish I don't want to do that.

best dish for dish network

I currently have a tail gator and I like it but I just found out we got a seasonal site we really want for next season. I'm looking for a new dish to permentely mount. I will be connecting one receiver for now but will upgrade to 2 receivers soon. I want HD what is the best dish to get? Also can I run one line in the sat in and split to multiple receivers?

RE: Toilet water problem ???

Is it all the time or just when you first hook up? Some air will be in the lines when you first hook up to a water source so I run my bathroom sink first to minimize the spray.

working on a jayco metal roof??

I am getting ready to do some maintenance to my metal roofed Jayco. I have resealed all the edges but I want to check out the fridge, vent pipe and everything else on the roof but I have to get on it to do it. Is it OK to get on the roof? The last thing I want to do is cause damage. Any one have experience with one of these roofs. It is a 1999 jayco 255 fifth wheel.
