This coming from the original and most prolific name caller on this forum makes this comment beyond laughable and simply more of your childness writings! Perhaps someday you may be half as secure As many others and myself on this forum are. At least, hopefully!
We all know you dont like Dodges and GM is King with you. But as you have to call people names all the time I think the Mods should get rid of you. Forums are so much better without people like you.

Yea, I think I got a little too lazy and took things for granted. I was still never comfortable with how the Reese 15k slide bar latches to a 5th wheel pin, too much play and looks like a weak point. When I backed up under it, the latch slid across the pin, just not all the way across like it normally should. Combine that with me not doing the pull test, and the end result is not good! I still want a hitch that latches around the 5er pin instead of a bar that slides across, just for a littlr more piece of mind.:o
I have the same hitch and i always look to make sure the bar is locked across the pin. But from what i read here in your post you dont use a lockor anything to keep your silde bar handle in the right place. If you did you would have seen that the handle wasnt closed all the way.

You know ricatic i had my heated moments with you. And when this all went down with your truck i just coundnt beleive that as the #1 Ford fan had this happen. I relly felt bad for you. And i dont blame you one bit for talking bad about Ford. I said to myself then i hope no one else has this promble. But all i can say now is you have trained these Blue KoolAid drinker far to well. They have turned on you something bad. Now in a way i hope they all have the samething that happen to you happen to them. Then there tune may change.

We do work for the city of Gonzales and they came by to drop a pump off. I went out there and said hey when yall get the new truck. He said last year. Said it was on its 3rd set of front tire and has only 22,000 mile on it. He said its been back to ford 3 times and they say everything is find. He said as long as they keep putting tires on it he didnt care. It was a Ford F250 gas with a tool box bed on it.

Saw a news story regarding quality issues with the Ram truck when they go thru the quality inspection. Maybe this has put the production back.
Also in the same story, the union is protesting some shift changes. Hmm wonder if they're related?
If you actually read the article you would see it was for 1500 trucks.

Then post a link about quality issues about the HDs.
Where did I say HD trucks???? I said Ram trucks!!! I also said "maybe this has put back production". If I was incorrect in my recollection of the story then there are certainly better ways to respond to my post than with these type of rude remarks.

Not saying that its just the 1500 and not the HDs. This thread was about someone waiting on his 3500. Then when someone tells you that what you read was about the 1500 you get on your high horse and say

Who posted the rude remarks? So your rude remark was saying thats not the same article so that leads one to beleve that you was talking about the HDs and not the 1500s.

Shortbed F150, NO slider and can turn more than 90 deg any day of the week. Rides very smooth too!

Your suspension on the trailer really don't like those high degree numbers anyway. I usually pull forward to keep the stress off the axle wheel which is going sideways, especially on pavement.
Theres a youtube vidio that has a VW bug that can do a 360. I have a short bed not a Standard bed. A 5'5 is a super short bed.

A loss of money? Its better to fix now before it ships then after. It could be as little as a ding or paint chip. They dont say now do they.

The acceptable goal for passing final Ram truck build inspection is 78%. That means 22% at BEST won't pass final inspection or more than 1 out of 5 that are built won't pass. Are you sure you want to take those odds with a $61,000 purchase using your own money? Very sobering! However, that goal is nothing new for Chrysler Corp vehicles as it's been the standard acceptable percentage since the early 1980's when it was first established.
Does anyone wonder why Chrysler Corp (now owned and run by Fiat of Italy) continues to be the highest frequency of repair required vehicles of the Big 3 or should I say the Big 2 and the little taildragger? Also, in black and white is stated that only 950,000 of the total 2,400,000 vehicles Chrysler/Dodge/Ram sold in 2012 were made in the USA. Did you get the message? Mexico sure does and so does their thousands of Mexican workers that have their jobs at Chrysler Corp plants while the American workers are out of work! Good job Chrysler/Fiat/Sergio, you make the Americans on unemployment or jobless very proud!!!
Why Pick on Chrysler?
Because he cant stand Chrysler. And to me them rejecting 22% is a good thing it meens someone is doing there job in finding the bad ones.
