RE: Strange noise

Well I pulled the slide in today and it worked great, Put it back out and again and it worked fine. I don't know what the problem was but i appreciate the input. To be honest it sounded a whole lot better coming in then it did in the past when it would make a whole lot of snapping and popping. Who knows. Thanks everyone.

Strange noise

I wonder if any other RVers have had this problem. So the wife and I went out on our 1st camping trip of the season. Got to camp and set up as usual. Put the slide out leveled everything and started to enjoy. About and hour or so later we were sitting inside our trailer when all of a sudden a very loud bang went off. It sounded like it came from under the slide. Very loud thumping sound. I inspected underneath and couldn't find anything out of order. We are still out enjoying ourselves and everything seems to be working fine. Any ideas what that could have been. We have been out dozens of times with this trailer (30ft WindRiver) and never had the problem before. Thanks

RE: looking for the best 4 season TT for Alaska - which one?

I would reccommend Artic Fox myself. They are a really well insulated trailer. Thw Wind River is called a 4 season trailer by the manufacture. It certainly is not. I own one and the only way it is 4 season is if you run the furnace in the winter and the AC in the summer. And the AC is not impressive at all anyway. Definitely don't be misled.

RE: Towing weight puma 25rlss and hemi v8

I have a 2007 Dodge 1/2 ton with the hemi. I tow a 30ft TT that weighs 6750 dry. I have no problems at all. My truck has the 3.92 gear in it and that really makes alot of difference in towing. Hope thats what you have in yours. Happy camping

RE: Electric Dometic Awning Failure

Dometic awnings are cheap junk. I'm stuck with one of them on my TT. Haven't had any problems yet but the TT is only 2 years old. Crossing my fingers.

RE: Mice living in our KZ Spree...sigh.

I had the same problem with my TT. A year after buying it I to had a mouse issue. I went underneath and spray foamed every opening I could find. And I couldn't believe all the openings in my sealed underbelly. There were alot of them. I can say now that I haven't had a problem since. Good luck with your situation.
