Water line anti-freeze

Hey Guys; Bought anti-freeze (the pink stuff) and ran it thru my water lines. Had to buy three gallons of the stuff to have enough in the fresh water tank to get the pump to draw. Question? There is still about two gallons left in the tank. Can I bleed it off in the spring, re-bottle it and use it next year? It's not that expensive. I won't be heartbroken if I have to buy new stuff. Just wondering.

RE: Trailer light problem

I don't think anythinf is miswired. The runninglights on my pup did not work either until the pup battery was connected and charged.

RE: Are tent covers good for winter storage?

My coleman manuel says don't cover. Angle it well and brush the snow off. I'm close to Ottawa. Pretty much the same winters as you...good luck.

Rachett

Was cranking up my Pup the other day and was about eight to ten inches up and realized the rachett wasn't working. Let it down slowly and started again. About ten inches up the rachett kicked in and worked fine. Should I be concerened. It's a 2005 Fleetwood Victory.

Battery Life

Wife and I are about to take our Pup dry camping next weekend. How long should a fully charged marine battery last. The only power we will use is lights and water pump. We are only gone for two nights.
Wadda ya think folks? Will it last?

RE: Bye -bye Hybrid

Hey Keatonb16; Starting to realize this. I really read between the lines here. Anyway, headed to Nfld next spring (flying and leaving the Pup behind). Going to do the B&B thing. Looking forward to Atlantic fun!

My 6cyl escape manuel says I'm good. Had the #2 tow package upgraded to a #3 and a trans cooler and electronic brakes installed. We're good.

RE: Bye -bye Hybrid

The Hybrid was a '08 Kodiak Scamper (One end folded out) and the tow vehicle was an '09 6cy Ford Escape.

Bye -bye Hybrid

Bought a Kodiak Hybrid last fall. Was always concerened abought the weight. We were in the limits but didn't feel comfortable towing. Dealer was great about it. Took it back and traded for a Coleman Viceroy Pup. Love it. 2005 model, twice as much space inside, bright, all the goodies the hybrid had and less than half the weight. Don't even feel it behind us. Bigger is NOT always better. So, ya gotta crank a little....

awning

My awning has popped out of the trac (where it attaches to my Hybrid) by abour ten to twelve inches. Is there an easy way to slide it back in without taking the whole thing out?

RE: Reese Drawtite Brake control 83500

Took it out for a test drive today after downloading the manual. Set at 2.5, worked just fine...very smooth. Highly recommended.

Reese Drawtite Brake control 83500

Had one of these installed earlier this year. The installer forgot to give me a user manuel (long drive back) I've never used one of these before. Can anyone give me instructions and or a link where I can find a manuel? Much appreciated.

RE: Snowbirding and wine-making

Right, Depending on the kit you bought (Concentrate or Concentrate juice blend)
Concentrate can usually be consumed much younger (3 months) Blends or pure juice should age six months to a year. Twist cap is fine to store straight up. Corked bottles should be on their side. Another tip, after corking leave the bottles verticle for three to five days then, lat them on their side.
I work in a winery. Also, " DO NOT" let the bottles get warm. You'll be popping corks all over the place not to mention ruining the wine.

RE: Any Prov. Park CGs in Ontario/Niagara Falls Region??

Good news from Ontario....The snow is gone. We do tend to embrace winter. Fire outside with a big bowl of chilie at xmas time. Cross country skiing. Camping in the fall......glorius. Beauty eh!!!
Good luck in Niagara.
