RE: Ford ecoboost

Hey guys I can add my 2 cents in too!! :) I towed my new passport thru the mountains of Pa here this past weekend. One of the hills was a 7% grade for 4 miles elevation around 2600 ft. I must say LOVE this ecoboost as I have towed this stretch many times with my previous 08 F-150 with the 5.4l. The ecoboost ran at about 2200 rpm's at an easy 55 mph as quiet as could be. The MPG's for the trip averaged about 11.6 MPG. The truck had much more power than I was even using. The ONLY thing I cant wait to change is these dang P rated tires out for LT's, dang those sidewalls are squishy!!! Ill be changing those p's out soon anyway as for those crappy goodyears have 16k on them and are all at the treadbars now. Any more questions ask away.

Fastway Wheel Chocks

I set up my new Fastway ONEstep XL wheel chocks today for my Passport I must say these things are pretty sweet!!! Easy to set up fairly light weight and work well with the spread axle design on the passports too

RE: Want to upgrade my 20" P rated tires to a good LT tire

Kevin I also am looking at replacing my P's with LT's. I have put a set of LT275/65/18 Yokohama AT's on my 08 F150 and it handled like a whole new truck while towing the only downside was the aggressive tread hurt gas milage but man did they tow better and were awesome in deep snow!!! These P rated Goodyears suck all the way around!!

RE: New tires for '11 F-150 ecoboost

Anyone have any experience with the michelin ltx at/2's? I would love to have a little more beefier tire for the winters here in pennsylvania but dont want to kill the gas milage with a very aggresive AT tire either.

RE: reviews for passport 2650bh

I just purchased a 2650bh just 2 weeks ago and love it for me my DW and DD. For the 3 of us it is a perfect fit and tows pretty easily too! Lots of storage too! If you have any questions about it ask away and I will answer the best I can.

New tires for '11 F-150 ecoboost

Hey everyone that owns an f-150 most come with the p rated tires max tow package or not. I am thinking of going to LT's with the stiffer sidewall. Has anyone else done this and have any suggestions/reviews on a good set of 275 65 18's. The goodyears they put on these trucks IMO are absolutely terrible in everyway. All suggestions will be helpful! Thanks

RE: New TT this FRIDAY!

Well we got er home!! And in the driveway pretty easily to much suprise. Towed it home about 300 miles and the ecoboost did very well! The only drawback was the gas milage of course but that is to be expected. Now to put all of our stuff into it :)

RE: Dehumidifier??

Im curious if it is really necessary to run one in a TT when its not in use? What would be the reason? I can see if you are keeping it heated and condensation builds up but does condensation build up itself naturally inside ?

New TT this FRIDAY!

This Friday coming we have an appointment to pick up our new TT! So excited yet nervous at the same time. Coming from a highwall pup to this TT is gonna be a change. Im sure Friday will be a long day as they do hitch work and show us the trailer. We also have plans to camp 2 miles from the dealership that night to rest before the 5 hour drive back home the next day :-)

New to using a WDH

Picking up my new TT in a couple weeks and the dealer is throwing in a Reese Straigt line with the dual cam sway control. I am a newbie when it comes to a WDH. Is this hitch hard to tweek once im loaded because I know the dealer will set it up without the trailer or truck loaded up. Just wondering any tips or tricks I can learn up on in the mean time before I pick up my new TT?
Thanks everyone

We think it fits our bill

Sooooo after much looking at trailers we really like the keystones and looked very hard at a Bullet line for a year now. STILL searching and noticed the keystone passport 2650bh. We have a 2011 f-150 ecoboost screw with a 145" wheelbase 7200lb gvwr and 1485 for payload. This passport seems to be a perfect match for us at a length we can handle and weights that seems to fit the bill. The bullets and premiers are really really nice but the extra $ and length seem to be a waste to us. Here are the TT specs
Shipping Weight
4819
Carrying Capacity
2381
Hitch
540
Length
29' 4"
Anyone have any experience with this trailer. Any imput would be great!!!!! We are a family of 3 DW, DD, and myself
Thanks everyone :D

New TV Tires

I will be in the market for new tires this summer the goodyear sr-a p rated tires put on the f-150's are garbage all the way around. I will be looking for a new LT tire that wont effect mileage much. Do you guys have any suggestions I have been thinking about the cooper ht's but not so sure yet the size would be a 275/65/18. I want something a little aggresive but not to much as we do get a bit of snow with these pennsylvania winters. Thanks guys
