Did the exact same thing a few years ago. The two point mount is the only way to go. Rack doesn't move at all. Here is the project. A word of caution...a one piece rack that has to slide into two mounted receivers will be very hard to align (even if you have a helper). I started to go that route until a friend of mine suggested a 3 piece design. Two mounting tubes and one rack that has pins to hold it on the tubes. Sincerely, Dave.
p.s. My original front receiver is behind the Mastercraft plate so when the cargo carrier isn't installed I'm still able to use it "back" trailers up when things get tight.

Dave and Lynn, we're so sorry to hear about bear. That's just awful. We had the same experience with our dog but it was congestive heart failure. In the end I'm glad that it was so quick. Deepest condolences. Sincerely, Dave.
