I am on my second set of XZEs they are fine, steer well and wear well. These are on a Chev chassis and a Ford.

My rhino required that I enlarge the hole in the bottom of the compartemnt where my drains and connections live. Not a big deal and the hose is great.

TRAXTERMAX I think uncontrolled greed is the Achilles heel of any economic system. How to control it is a real problem, I think perhaps the answer lies in instilling morals from birth, not a quick fix, but one that would work and last. Governments of all kinds over time have proven unable to do it.

Traxtermax..I think you maybe missed the point about a lot of folks involved in the sub-prime and other messes. The "factory floor" type folks had and have no real guilt they were neither informed nor educated enough to understand the issues at hand. They deserve no punishment.

Trish..I suspect that many who work on wall street are just the folks who do as they are told. I had a neighbor who was a Jr Mortgage broker. He wasa nice kid, but could be outsmarted by a turnip, I doubt he had any real idea of what he was doing other than as he was told.
There were and are folks involved in this mess who are surely the "bad guys", we need to catch 'em and put them on the rock-pile. There are however those who are like the "factory floor" folks, just the ones who do as they are told.

I think capitalism is the ONLY system that offers an opportunity for all. Don't make the mistake of condemning the system because of the failings of some folks. Deal with the people who do bad things not the system within which they operate. The folks who created the sub-prime mess (both the sellers and the takers of those loans) should be dealt with for example.
I offer the following semi-farout example. If we want to eliminate bank robbers, do we eliminate banks or catch the robbers?
I think we have come to a point where we hesitate to put the blame on individuals and rather want to deal with systems.

Trish. I looked at the article re BoA. I have to say For a variety of reason I have no use for BofA, however SEIU is way down my list of likes also. I don't find it odd that BofA has done what they may be doing, I was surely not a supporter of the scheme to pass out TARP money or whatever they came to call it. I always suspected the $$ would go wandering off.

I think the wages paid for any job to be fair to both the payer and the payee must be based on the value that person adds to the process, the education required,the degree of risk involved in decisions made, physical skills,and availability of person to take the job.
Wants and "needs" or either payer or payee when added to the process distort the process as do pressure brought by either party.

Trish.. Look around a bit and you will find that most folks belong to one or the other even when they deny it. Check out various lines here, voting, letters to the editor etc.

BURLMART I think you have to decide if you or an "us" or a "them" , which may translate to "the woe is me gang" or "the folks in charge did good gang".
There can be no outside cause nor can you belong to another gang. SOOO Choose your story, but recall that whatever story you choose reality is what it is.
If you ride foreign motorcycle you may be killing HD, so I can't tell which gang you belong to.

JALLEN4 It is the same old "us" vs "them" that has been used for years. It is indeed the technique used by many, their version of leadership is to designate an "enemy".
HD is just a casualty so to speak of the current economic situation that was caused by many things, very few of those things are the things designated as the "ENEMIES".

It may well be that the issue of who runs "the Company" is a problem. Did the guy who works the floor start the co, risk his or her funds? If not why does that person have some right to be in charge?

Time has passed, the situation has changed, the manufacturing jobs are gone, they will not return. The jobs are gone for many reasons, I suspect a major reason is the desire of folks to pay lower prices for things coupled with the desire of folks to be paid more squeezing the ability of companies to exsist
Nomatter how one trys you can't make a thing for $1.00 and sell it fot $.50
and long stay in business. Further when your competitor outsources and makes his thing for $.40 you are squeezed even more so on it goes.
No amount of morals or what ever can repeal the mathematics of profit and loss.

Trax.. I think just as you cannot legislate smart I suspect you can't legislate conduct. For proof of that check out the prison population.
We can however do a better job of raising and educating our children.
I probably should have said the goal of business is HONEST profit.

Trish I would say that bad brakes is a foolish issue, being able to take legal action against a person or co with bad brakes if the bad brakes cause harm is just a fact of our laws, that does not make it a social issue.
Being foolish is a fact manifested by a pretty large segmnent of mankind, probably not fixable by laws. I submit that we cannot legislate smart.
