RE: Pro's and Con's of Driver side door?

I donno.. I've never had a Class A with a driver's door, but with our coach when I need to exit the driver's seat, I simply pull the lever on the side of the seat, rotate it 90 degrees and stand up. What could be more simpler?

There's the pic of the one I am thinking of buying, yes it has some black but is sure is cool looking..
Black is always in fashion :C
That will be a SAUNA in the summer if parked in the sun!
And why are so many paint/graphic jobs so GARISH?
Me likes it.

RE: Ceiling Trim

My buddy's ceiling was coming down and he pulled it real tight to the plastic trim and stapled it then used 1" or 1-1/2" wide x 1/4 wood to match his cabinets. Looked real nice kinda nautical.

RE: Pro's and Con's of Driver side door?

I use mine all the time. I think I sure would miss it. I'm in pretty good shape so getting in and out is a non issue as of right now. Mine is also almost 20 years old and as no wind noise or leaks.

RE: Tiffin VS. Winnebago

Look under any Winnebago. You'd be hard-pressed to find one that isn't a rusty mess.
HHMMMMMMM. Mine is 13 years old and it is not a rusty mess.

RE: campground in connecticut

I'm here right now through Sunday on beach street with 50amp power. 35.00 a night is correct. It is the closest you are going to get to the beach it is a 30 second walk. Aces High is like a 1/2 hour ride and Strawberry Park even farther. The Mystic KOA may be better and closer with full hook ups. Stayed there once was nice and a lot of activities for the kids. Have fun with whatever you choose

RE: Winnebago Windshield Rust

I have a 2005 Sightseer. Will I need to worry about this problem also? Is Winnebago standing behind this repair?
Just lift the rubber on the bottom of the windshield and see if their is rust in there. Most will have it as it is a winnebago problem.
This simply is not true not a major problem
Looks pretty major to me.

RE: Headers vs oem manifolds

I have just gone this route..new manifolds and a complete dual exhaust....I did an exhaustive search for headers for F53/460 including calling factories.....the only ones available were banks.....So, if any one finds ANY OTHERS IN STOCK AVAILABLE ANYWHERE PLEASE POST IT HERE....I can afford banks ,just rebel at the cost.....
Any of These work?

RE: Re-coating Your Rubber Roof

I just did mine yesterday with the dicor two part roof coating. It looked great until a few hours ago it started to rain and now I have a bunch of bubbles. I'm hoping once the rain stops and the sun hits it that they go away.
Well after a few days all the bubbles are gone.

RE: Awnings -- Vinyl vs. acrylic

Our Sunbrella awnings are 11 years old now and in very good condition. We also had Sunbrella on our sailboat. That is the fabric I would insist on.Our Sunbrella fabric on Zip Dee awnings will be 20 years old this fall and still in good condition.
Same here. Almost 20 years old. Mine are in excellent condition

RE: Tiffin VS. Winnebago

Be sure to check out the quality issues on tiffin. There has been a lot of posts about multiple trips to the factory. Has the flooring issues been resolved?
I would actually be more concerned about the roof cracks that have been a major issue. Some people are on their third roof repair. With Tiffin's change in scheduling for repairs some folks have literally spent weeks in Red Bay, AL.
Yea but you get to see and talk to Bob and stay in his "campground" for free
