RE: Quad Bunkhouse TT w/ No Slide
I did a search on rvwholesalers site for a TT with bunks but they only have 2 and 3 bunk models without a slide. They have quite a selection so you may be out of luck.

You are going to love not having to deal with canvas in the rain! Sure, we miss those quiet campgrounds where we could nap with the ends open and enjoy the breeze but we definitely don't miss hearing kids and their training wheels going at 7am(; Great looking TT - Congrats!

I would suggest you try to keep it under 30' too. We had an Expedition and our current TT wagged the dog although it pulled the weight (8k loaded) just fine.

They look like 640 x 480 to me. As long as they don't force a sideways scroll, you're ok.
I'm fine with how they are and actually prefer them bigger but we know how many people here don't like it. They're 1,024px × 682px though and the side to side scroll is showing for me.

RE: How do I drill holes for metal bar to hang grill
We loved using the grill on our previous HTT. We used it almost every night and never had a problem. Our wall was fine and the awning never had grey/black smoke damage. We now bring our full sized Weber which is way better but a bigger PITA.
If you do screw the rail into the wall, you'll definitely want to hit at least one stud. On our current TT, I added a rail so we can hang a shelf (made of countertop). I got the stud locations from the TT manufacturer. Another way to find them is to wake up early in the morning when the dew is on the unit. I'm not sure if a stud finder will work. Be sure to fill your holes will caulk before screws.

Places in WV that we have camped and I would recommend:
*Cedar Creek State Park (several ponds, a river nearby, pool, etc.)
*Holly River State Park (absolutely beautiful area)..very shaded, with a small river and waterfalls nearby
*Anything in what I call the "Canaan area" - Canaan Valley, Blackwater Falls, Seneca Shadows (This has always been my favorite part of the state)...so many things to see within an hour's drive (Smokehole Caverns, Seneca Caverns, Seneca Rocks, etc..)...We have also stayed at Revelle's Retreat along RT 33- right on the river and a good base camp to go see everything. There's a lot to see and do, but the CG's (esp. Canaan Valley and BW falls) are nice enough that you would be happy just to stay there all week.
*Pipestem and Stonewall Resort are VERY popular. Someone already mentioned the attractions at Pipestem. Stonewall has sites right on the lake..not sure about trails. Camp Creek is another nice CG near Pipestem. As mentioned, the New River is beautiful and offers hiking, fishing, and rafting.
*Watoga State Park is also very popular. The Riverside CG there has sites right along the gorgeous Greenbrier River. Watoga offers many trails, a lake, and a nice pool. It is hard to beat an inner tube float down the river...you can put in several miles upstream and float right down to your site. The Greenbrier River trail runs right by the park also, and is the best and easiest family biking trip we have ever done. Other attractions nearby include Cass Railroad, Beartown (very nice trail through rock formations, all on a wooden walkway), and Droop Mountain (lots of history to learn here and several scenic trails)
* We have also camped along the western part of the state. North Bend State Park is a nice park, and offers two CG's and a very nice lake. The North Bend Rail Trail is accessible from the park, and is a very nice hike/bike ride along the Hughes River. If you go to North Bend, take the Harrisville exit; you can get there from the Cairo exit, but it is an interesting road.
We recently tried Beech Fork State Park near Huntington. It is about fifteen minutes from Marshall University. The road there is windy, but I've done much worse. They offer many sites along the lake, and the CG has to be the quietest CG I have ever been to. There are several trails there as well.
Well, I didn't mean to be too long-winded, but that should give you a few places to research. Places on our bucket list are Battle Run, Cacapon, Tygart Lake, Bulltown, and Babcock State Park.
Wherever you choose, you won't be disappointed. I am very fortunate to live in such a scenic state. We are big fans of the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee and have stayed there a lot over the last couple of years, but this year we are staying instate as we have missed the beauty here. Happy Camping!!!
You sold me on Canaan Resort State Park! Is there a couple sites next to each other or an area that I should request? We like them to be as private as possible usually.

Our kids will be 9 and 6 at the time. A playground would be nice but we vote for a scenic cg first. A clean showerhouse would be fantastic. This trip is to catch up with family so we will be hanging out at the CG and hiking. Horseback riding and other activities aren't necessary. Any part of the state is OK.

If you feel or see that they are slipping on concrete, then your wheels are not chocked or secrurend properly. The first step in setup is to chock and secure the wheels before lowering the stabs.
JMHO
I agree!! No wood for me. More slippery than the blocks and heavier.
I think they are referring to them slipping as they back the TT onto them.

We are a family that is struggling in this economy... part of the middle class that is slipping down. The way I see it, my kids will only this age once and as a parent I'm going to do my darndest to give them every experience I can. We sacrifice in every way possible so that our camping season is filled. We have 53 nights planned over 8k miles this year.

We enjoyed our stay at Brimley but really just used it as a base camp. We were there in May for a Memorial Weekend so avoided a waterfront/cooler site but they would have been great in warmer temps.

I am curious as I have a new trailer set to arrive in a couple weeks. I have a seasonal lot(gravel) which is pretty level to begin with. I saw a video on you tube which suggests that any leveling should be done with the slide out open. That certainly peaked my curiosity and I would like to know what you experienced campers would say on that? I am also curious on what you all think about the slide out supports, are they necessary? It is one slide out only on one side of the trailer approx. 12' long? I look forward to your replies! Thanks!
There is a ZERO percent chance that I will ever move our trailer with the slide out. Slide out supports are also a huge NO. If your unit tries to settle during the stay and your support doesn't give, your slide is going to be damaged.

Dang!!! After reading all the replys here and knowing what I want an answer to... I almost saw what I was looking for when Mister_D said
The key to the whole thing is to have the right amount of liquid in the tank....
So, here's my question... How much water is enough...?
After I dump the black tank, I usually fill and empty the toilet bowl four times to "charge" the tank then toss in a packet of tank fresh...
I figure the bowl holds about two gallons, so that's about eight gallons in the bottom... the trouble is I don't know how many gallons my tank is...
People here love a Google challenge.. post your unit and I bet someone will find your tank size(: I would say 8 gallons is fine and will likely cover the bottom of any tank. IMO, this combined with people continuing to put some water in the bowl before a bowel movement, you'd be good.
