RE: Banks PowerPack

I have had the complete Power Pack on two V10's including the 2010 that I am driving now. It significantly increases low end torque. The result is much better climbing ability in the mountains and better acceleration. It helps gas mileage slightly. We drive in the mountains a lot towing a CR-V. IMHO it is well worth the expense. The Power Pack includes headers, exhaust and the ability to tune the computer chip.
The other thing is that I have been a gear head since I was a kid, and I love the sound of the engine. Vroom vroom!

RE: New motorhome driven to Alaska

The problem is not Alaska, it is getting there through British Columbia, lots if frost heave problems that appear suddenly on otherwise good roads.

RE: looking for 32 to 36 foot motorhome recommendations

We have a Tiffin Open Road and really like it. They also make the Breeze in 28 ft and 32 ft models.

RE: Small Class A gas or large Class C

We have owned both a Class C and several Class A's. IMHO, the big disadvantage to a Class C is GVWR. Most of them have little cargo carrying capacity. Another disadvantage is the big difference in storage area.
Having said that, we owned our Class C for four years and enjoyed the smaller length, height, and manuervability.
