RE: US 101 in northern Ca
We just did it and it is a beautiful trip. We left Travis AFB and got on 101 from Vacaville. Took 101 all the way into Washington. When we came back we took I-5 south. The coast is much much better. The roads are good. Slow in the little towns but if your are not in a hurry, enjoy the views.
Need info about Hwy 127 California
Thinking about taking Hwy 127 off I-15 at Baker to Death Valley Junction. Has anyone gone this route - if so how is it for grades, etc.?
