RE: 2000 Monaco Headlights

This made me laugh. I had the same problem with our 2000 Knight, on our last trip south I decided when I got to my brothers in Ga. I would replace the bulbs. We spent about 2 1/2 hour trying to get one bulb out:h ended up takeing the whole light out.:) Once it was out I could see what I was doing wrong, I took about 2 1/2 seconds to get the second one out.:o In case you're woundering, reach up and turn the collar around the bulb, not the bulb. :) Mery Christmas

RE: RV in Storage... MICE!

I use a bucket mouse trap, with some anti freeze in the bottom so it doesn't freeze. I have some in the barn where I store the MH. Last year I caught 5 in one day, also have them in the atic of the house, they work great. Google bucket mousr trap to see how to make one. Mery Christmas

Another windows 7 ???

Looking into buying a new laptop for the bride for Christmas and have some conserns about Win.7. Has anyone had any issues with Win 7 as far as running older programs like MS streets & trips? Are drivers available for most printers or do we have to buy another printer? Thanks for the help.

RE: Atwood 10 Gal Water Heater Starting problem

More than likely you need to do a burner/flame sensor tune up and adjustment. Most troubles I've had like that are sensor related. You can get an Atwood service manual here.

RE: Custer State Park

Custer area is great, worth a minimum stay of a week or at least 7 days. Checkout the Bad Lands, Needles Hyway, Wildlife Loop & Crazy Horse. Don't be fussy on CG if you stay Custer State Park and make reservations ASAP. Also I second the Alpine Inn in Hill City, just get there at 5PM or you'll have to wait for a table.

RE: Atwood hot water heater clean out

No anode rod is needed or recomended for the Atwood water heater. As mentioned buy or make a flushing wand and just flush through the drain plug. You will be supprised at the junk that will be flushed out. I usualy flush mine 2 times a year. Good luck.

RE: RV Steps

One of the most neglected maintance items on a coach is the lubrication of the steps. Disconect the linkage from the steps and try to move the steps by hand. If they don't move use some WD 40 to free them up. Once free use some grease in a can to lube every pivot point plus the linkage.

Allure flooring in MH ??

I'm looking at replaceing the carpet in our MH with Allure flooring and have some questions for anyone who has done it. 1) Did you use anything for a base board where the flooring meets the walls? If so what? 2) I will have to use luan to come up to the existing tile heighth. Does anyone see a problem useing a thin foam underlay between the sub floor and the luan (for noise suppresion and insulation)? Thanks
