RE: NY Family campground rental ??

The Jellystone in Gardiner, NY. Beautiful upstate ny location with history surrounded by mountains. The campground was well themed, friendly workers, once again beautiful park. Two nice pools with the best snack bar food I've had. A little bit pricy but you get what you pay for. They also have recreation and different weekend themes.

RE: A great man died 20 May 12

Eugene J. Polley, a man best known for inventing the first wireless television remote control, died of natural causes on Sunday at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois. He was 96? I just wanna say, "thank you, Eugene Polley".

RE: Pirateland - Myrtle Beach (SC)

We have visited Pirateland in the past - maybe 5 years ago. After an incident when a worker attempted to steal from our campsite, we didn't go back for a while. We have chosen nearby Ocean Lakes and Lakewood for our more recent trips to Myrtle Beach but decided to give Pirateland another try on this Easter trip. We were very disappointed. The property is not very well kept up. The arcade, store, and restaurant are all small, not very well appointed, and have a "snakey look" with the ivy growing all over the front and sides. The staff was not very friendly, the indoor pool looked murky and cloudy. They are so determined to make sure that you are not a minute late on checking out that they stand at the gate and write down the time that you are leaving. Thankfully, we left a couple of hours before check out but wonder if they would have charged for another day if one was even 5 minutes late leaving. I would strongly recommend going next door to Lakewood or just a short way down to Ocean Lakes for a much nicer campground experience. The prices are all about the same but you certainly would get much more for your money at one of the other two places.

RE: Park and activities near Dayton, Ohio

Various museums and attractions, including the US Air Force Museum and the Carillon Historic Park, demonstrate the trials and triumphs of these two dedicated men and trace the development and evolution of the first legitimate flying machine, The Wright Flyer II. Though the history of flight is fascinating, Dayton's amiable environment, rich history, and eclectic culture compliment one another to make this an even more attractive place to visit. Visitors to the Sun Watch Indian Village will view indications of inhabitation that date as early as the pre-Columbian age. Additional areas not to miss include Downtown and the Oregon Historic District. Together, these two areas offer such appealing sights as the radiant Victorian Theatre, numerous dining establishments, contemporary shopping venues, and energetic nightlife scenes.

RE: What does this mean ???

Superscript formatted in a word processor may not display correctly in some places, like email. To be safe, you’d have to code each instance of superscript. Save yourself the trouble and avoid superscript on the Web: Use sq km instead of km2, for instance. Or see “Special Characters” for instructions on coding superscript font.

RE: Buy A Car That Is No Longer Made - Good Idea Or Bad Idea

No need to worry. I am pretty sure that for the next 20 years or more you'd be OK to find parts and have a car serviced even if it had been discontinued. GM uses a lot of badge engineering meaning same parts are used across various divisions. So, you'll still be able to find parts.

RE: Snowbirding and wine-making

The wine making process is a very simple. It is time consuming only in the fact that it takes weeks to months for the finished wine to be bottled and ready to drink. The step-by-step process, in and of itself, is fairly simple and only takes a few minutes during each required step.

RE: Bastrop State Park

We've always loved going for picnics, swimming and just plain fun with friends. Also enjoy golfing, not that we know how or anything but it's fun. Haven't been there since the fires. Don't know what it's like before.
