RE: How do you get the smell of gas off skin?

Minced Garlic with a bit of EVVO. Make a paste and rub it in. It helps the skin from irritation.

RE: Video, model falls and news anchor laughs.

It brought tears to my eyes. Especially the broadcasters. Someone greased the runway.

RE: Washer/dryer suggestions on what to buy

Samsung 4,5 cubic ft. Steam and silver cycle. Quiet as a church mouse and very efficient. The clothes come out sparkingly clean. All sorts of choices for your laundry pleasure.Stainless of course and dont forget the pedestal.

RE: Verizon USB 720 or USB 760

Thanks for the info. although I've never come close to the GB limit there is no reason to switch as the card i have now is a replacement less than two months old. The offer they gave me by mail was a new 760 card or a free month of service if i signed up,.Maybe they will come up with a better plan or walmart will.

RE: Yankees vs Phillies

The taxes, parking and tourism the stadium draws will soon pay for the ball park.I think the Yanks will allow the series to go 6 games to allow the vendors to sell a few million more beerski's and dogs then slaughter the "other" team. Nobody can come close to beating the Yankees this year. The Babe will be proud.

RE: Verizon USB 720 or USB 760

My 720 has one.Although it never helped much even with the antenna mounted on a pole above the roof of the fiver.

Verizon USB 720 or USB 760

Is there any difference between the 720 or 760 air cards. My 2yr year commitment is ending with Verizon and I can get the 760 free with a 2 yr commitment. Also to those in the know will there be a better card coming out soon. It's my third card since I signed up as the other two died but basically the 720 isn't bad other than the occasional disconnects where the only way to reconnect is rebooting.

RE: granite countertops

Ahhh. The left side of the fridge is where the forklift rammed it.The old dent and scratch sale.Maybe th GC could put a blank panel on the corner cabinet. The Pressed board looks a bit unfinished. Just saying.

RE: granite countertops

Here we go again :B There is lot of misinformation about granite cost. I don't specialize in those jobs, but I do that on limited bases. This kitchen with over 20 linear feet of granite counter-tops cost around $400 in material cost. The matching floor (you can see only 1/2 of it) was another $400 + Shop around. Like everywhere else you will find contractors ready to charge you 10 grands for the same stuff. Labor is expensive, but not that much. http://images.kajtek1.multiply.com/image/1:kajtek1bus/photos/16/600x600/2/DSCN0261.JPG?et=F8%2BY2wPsfvYirL7K1OGOsA&nmid=235490341Kaj there is a huge difference in quality. How can you have 20lf of granite countertop done when the slab alone costs $750. For lords sake whats with the door on the fridge.Kinda backwards for access. And don't trip over the fireplace. Who did this remodel? It is able to be done when you buy the premade slabs that were fabricated in China and you make cuts to fit but itis never done as well as when you buy slabs that have been quarryed together and the ends are bookmarked so they match and you cannot see a seam. Also those cheap jobs, they do not use proper leveling shims. We have lost bids to do the counters only to comeback a year later to replace the cheaply done ones. Sometimes we actually come across contractors who used corrugated cardboard as leveling shims under the counter.....insane

RE: Goodbye to all my friends! Thanks for a great 5 years!

Good Sam made me an offer I couldn't refuse. If I resigned they would give me a free night of camping at one of their discounted parks( $ 25.00 value. ) free map, membership, magazine and a lot of junk mail.I feel so used in accepting the offer. This place needs posters like yourself with good info. Don't let a few ad's bother you. Good luck either way.

RE: Suwannee River SP-Live Oak Florida

I wonder why the website never updated the new 50 amp and sewer renovations that were done. We were there a couple of years ago before they renovated and it wasn't very nice. We stopped by when the improvements were under way and it seemed like it would be nicer.

RE: Driving too fast & following too close

Why is it when you are a 4 lane highway with no traffic and driving a bit below the speed limit people still tailgate you. They will follow you to hell.

RE: GM...to import vehicles made in China

Well nobody will be able to blame those union scoundrels of destroying the profitability of GM. Cheap Chinese labor and the quality control should keep the prices under control.Have fun with the Mission tires.
