It has been a few years ago but at that time I just called Verizon and had "Canada calling" added to my account. It cost about $10 a month.That ended a couple months ago......Now the charge is like $89 a month for limited use, or 89ยข a minute for regular use.
If you have an unlimited plan you can add canada for 1000 minutes for $15
Suggest you call them - internet chat rooms are not always factual

Right, I will be looking more seriously at the new Good Sam Rand McNally 7725 thru Camping World.
Now that makes sense to buy an inferior product to spite Garmin

I'm seriously leaning towards this GPS, but does anyone have any issues with the thing being so large? 7.5 inches wide is pretty darn big sitting up there on the dash.
Same size as the existing Garmin Truck GPS and the Rand - lots of more data on screen - should be great.

RE: RV park close to Seattle/Pike market?
Pike Place Market is in the heart of downtown Seattle. Don't even think about driving your 34 footer into that area..absolutely no place to park it.
There aren't a lot of great campgrounds close in. I recommend Lake Pleasant RV Park...LINK
It's centrally located to be Seattle tourists.
Have a good visit.

I have a 2005 Sightseer. Will I need to worry about this problem also? Is Winnebago standing behind this repair?
Just lift the rubber on the bottom of the windshield and see if their is rust in there. Most will have it as it is a winnebago problem.
This simply is not true not a major problem

A quick check of the campgrounds in the dells tells me that they close for the season anywhere from Oct 1 to Oct 15. Yes there are campgrounds open year round - you can find them on the Good Sam search engine - click on open all year.

This story does not sound right has not been my experience with this dealer. I suspect it is the trade issue or OP made them feel like he was just kicking tires.
I am 150 miles from this dealer and lots of new rigs have the Lichtsinn sticker on them.
Interesting that Camping world can list Winnebago prices under MSRP but not other dealer can advertise this way

I recently purchased a new 2012 Winnebago Vista 26P. I have only driven 500 miles but have noticed what seems to be steering wander. Will an aftermarket steering stabilized offer an improvement over the stock suspension? Any opinions?
