RE: Demco Tow bars

I use the Demco Aluminator and the Demco base plate with zero problems. It is one of the few tow bars that allow you to back up with care. X6

RE: Shore power connected during storage

Hi Everyone, Should I connect the shore power during winter storage. My MH is parked outdoor. I have already winterized and the tank is full with diesel. Thanks for the help. :? Yes, your charger should act as a battery maintainer. I have plugged mine in for the 5 years I have owned it, while in storage, and never had any problems with batteries. Just remember to "excercise" your coach, preferably by driving every few weeks and don't forget your generator. Richard

RE: Tire rotation

you only need to rotate tires if they are Goodyear G670s cause they are going to river.:M Mine have 20K miles and have no signs of "rivering". Keep proper inflation in your tires. Weigh your unit and do as Goodyear suggests for tire pressure and then add a little. Works for me. Richard

RE: CAT C7 Will Not Start

Hopefully I can get some help here. 2005 CAT C7. I changed my fuel/water separator, primed and now it will not start. It ran for a few seconds then slowly stopped running. I tryed starting fluid and still no luck. I am concerned the filter on the engine may need to be changed as well (only one year old). Could I have gotten some bad fuel and plugged the engine fuel filter? Brett are you out there? Thanks! Changed mine twice and everything seemed to work OK. Change with a full fuel tank and filled the filter before. I only have one filter. I know this doesn't help much but have heard of success using ether but you must disable the intake heater circuit. I think you have two filters on your C7? Good Luck Richard
