RE: newbie with generator questions

I would buy a EU2000 Honda. Since you will not run a A/C, one Honda will do the job for you

RE: Does adding a Truck topper affect towing

Two different trucks, two different toppers, no towing difference. But they are handy for cargo security. What he said

RE: Clearing slide-out roof before leaving camp

RE: leaving vents open

I have the covers, only time mine are closed is when the A/C is running. Even in the winter when running the heater, I will leave one cacked open to prevent moisture from building up. X2. X3

RE: Eaz Lift WDH question?

I used the Eaz Lift hitch setup for 45 years or so. All the ones I had were adjusted with washers. I never had a problem towing once they were adjusted properly in well over 100,000 miles. I never used two sway bars and I towed a 34 ft TT for two years with no sway

RE: Honda

I have the Honda EU3000. Great gen. I had two EU2000 Hondas but I much prefer the EU3000 over the EU2000 . Never had the EU6500 nor do I think I would have the need for something that big

RE: Any Advice On This?

If I had a choice we would not have animals when we travel. But the DW has to have here cat. Every time you go out the door the cat tries to get out. Her last cat got out in Dec and we never found it. Then in Jan she got another one. Dang it ! Maybe I should open the door and let it out. LOL . I gave up on taking my Rott, way two much trouble !!!

RE: Do I really need a sliding hitch?

My son has a slider in his TV and never used it one time in 10 years although the one time that he should have was when a friend with 32 years of towing RVs told my son "you don't need to engage the slider as you have plenty of room" he busted out the rear window of his new truck {at that time}

RE: $500 Honda EU2000i ???

A lot of good buys on Craigs List over the years. There is a ad on Craigs List today in Sac Ca under "general for sale" EU3000 Honda for $1,250. I bought 5 EU2000 Hondas {separate sales) for $500 and less and resold for $750 each.

RE: Quad in truck

My son puts 2 quads on a raised deck and one in the p/up bed in his F250 lwb Ford and tows a 32 ft TT from Cal to Or and Wash each summer. His 25 year old son actually rides the quad up onto the raised deck

RE: What Have You Owned Over The Years, & When?

Way two many too think about listing. From tent ts to Class As. At least 30 or so over the last 50 plus years of camping. It is a hobby for me. I buy and sell. Had 6 TTs in one month. No, I am not a Dealer
