RE: 12V flashlight
Buy a cheap LED flashlight anywhere. They are bright and take regular batteries. Cost about $4 a you can buy all you want.

RE: Do I have enough Truck?
rick83864,
My use of the GCWR was just to illustrate how to figure weights. I don't know what his actually is. But for info, my Ram2500 had the same GCWR as my Ram3500 SRW because the gear ratios are identical. The CARRYING capacity of the 2500 was less then my 3500 and that is why I traded in my 2500 for the 3500 EVEN though I had ONLY 7800 miles on the 2500. It was worth it when I towed with the 3500 and felt the difference.

RE: Do I have enough Truck?
There are two numbers to look at, they are the GVWR and GCWR. The GVWR is ONLY what the truck can CARRY. The GCWR is what the truck can TOW as a combo.
If the GVWR is 9200# as a F250 then you need to weigh the truck with everything in it AND the hitch and then figure out what you can CARRY as the PIN WEIGHT. The total weight of the trailer AND the weight of the fully loaded truck is the total weight to look at for the GCWR. That total GCWR weight for a F250 is probably about 22,000#. The TRUE truck weight subtracted from the GCWR will tell you what you can tow. THAT is how you can tell whether or not you can tow anything. Any other way wont help you.

RE: Dropped it!
I have never "high hitched"! Here is why. When I back my truck under the pin. I lower the trailer so the pin rests lower than the hitch plate. It has to slide UP on the plate to get into the opening of the hitch. It also puts the weight on the hitch when it does that. It is not enough to raise the trailer feet but it will depress the truck springs. When it clamps shut, I KNOW that I am not "high hitched".

RE: My girlfriend hates me...
Not only would I be mad I would also worry. Any truck or trailer that has a shipping weight of 100720 pounds would not be my friend.
