RE: diesel radiator clogging with oil from blow by & overheating

I've had my motor home overheat a couple of times from oil and dirt clogging my side radiator. I use simple green and rinse with a garden hose. Works every time. I mostly just spray from the outside. But, I do try to spray the inside of the radiator too. Last time it overheated was on I-15 from Ogden. That night, I did the Simple Green and hose trick at the RV Park. No problems the remainder of the trip home. I try to remember to clean it now before any extended trip. I've heard of people attaching a bottle to the bottom of the blow by tube. It has to be attached in such a way as to allow airflow though.
