RE: hooking up a battery

On my Jayco, there are two wires on the + battery terminal. A black wire with an in-line 30A fuse that goes to the converter, and a green wire that goes to the breakaway switch for the brakes.

RE: just really don't believe this can this be really happening

I am curious if anyone has greeted "one of these people" when they pull in with a comment like; You are not seriously going to camp here are you? I just greet them in the nude and welcome them to join me for a beer after they get set up. Funny thing, they usually move on and look for a different place. :B

RE: Grey Water Cassette Tank

I say make the family member(s) that use all the water empty the gray totes and after a few times they will adopt a more conservative use. Heh!

TeeJay - Love your POPUP photo. Where exactly is this taken at in AZ. Spent a few years in the Phoenix area back in the 70s and made a many run up north from Apache trail and on up. Thanks! That pic is taken on the east side of the Chiricahua Mountains.

RE: Cooking and eating stuff

Since we setup our kitchen outside, we use Rubbermaid totes. One for cookware, one for dinnerware, cups, etc. We also have a small plastic drawer unit for utensils and flatware. Oh yeah, one small tote that is the COFFEE KIT.

RE: First the mods, now the photographs (long, numerous images!)

Here's one of the bunk-end light/fan combos with an LED board installed, source: ebay. http://www.pbase.com/ebond/image/144788520/medium.jpg http://www.pbase.com/ebond/image/144788521/medium.jpg Even the porch light gets an LED treatment. http://www.pbase.com/ebond/image/144788523/medium.jpg http://www.pbase.com/ebond/image/144788524/medium.jpg Well planned and documented mods. Thanks for sharing. By chance, do you have a link to the vendor of the 12-LED boards shown in your pics above? THANKS!

RE: generator size

I have a 1997 coleman pup without a/c need to know what size generator to buy to power lights, refrig.furnace OK, I'll go against the trend by recommending that a generator is NOT needed for the uses mentioned. A deep cycle battery will power your lights, and furnace fan for 3-4 nights of camping. The refrigerator runs on propane.
