RE: intermediate low dc voltage

I unplugged the converter DC went dead. plugged it back on, had DC. Cleaned all the battery connections. Unplugged the converter again, everything worked ok. Plugged the converter back in, so far so good.

intermediate low dc voltage

I am having intermediate low dc voltage shutting done the norcold 1200 frig and the outside entry light by the door. I can use the controls on the frig. to restart it and the outside light works. The voltage reads 12.6 volts. All the DC lights will go dim than go bright in a second for two. All the AC items like the TV and microwave are working fine. Any ideas???

RE: Synthetic oil questions

X572 on Mobil 1. I have used on all my MH's with great results. Use a premium one quart filter and seven quarts of oil on a workhouse W22 or W24 chassis.

RE: Need any and all ideas for things to see and do in Michigan

Go up the West side of Mich on US31. too many nice towns to name. Then take M22 just north of Manistee back to US31 at Traverse City and on to the bridge at Mackinaw. In the UP go to Sault Saint Marie Then west on US 2, north to Munising, west to copper harbor. I did not list all the great stops along the way. go to Michigan tourism for details along these routes. Glad you have a month. You will need it!!!!!

RE: Gas vs diesels

See the topic "Tucson DP goes up in flames". I wasn't aware of it but the topic states there have been several engine fires on DP's.

RE: Where is quality?????

In answer to some of the questions listed above. 3 units had to have the roof AC replaced. 2 had water {plumbing} leaks. 1 had a problem with the slide outs and 1 had to have the water heater replaced. 4 of the units went directly to the campground. 3 of the MH's were "high end" units. I am not naming manufacture because that could start another long post. As you can see several of that problems were caused by components used by many manufactures.

RE: Winnebago Adventurer Roof issues

I belong to WIT ,Winnebago owners club. I have been on 7 caravans with them and at least 50 campouts since 2001. Of the hundreds of owners I have met no one has had this problem. I am not saying this hasn't happened. I am just saying it must be very rare. I do have the roof cleaned and inspected once a year on all the Winnebago MH's I have owned. Never had an issue other than I had to have an area rechauked on one of them after 6 years. Have your roof checked once a year no matter what MH you own.
