Godspeed-jantz-grodzicki

Very sad for this young man.
http://www.chronicmx.com/godspeed-jantz-grodzicki/
I have been racing motocross for over 30 years and still hate to see this happen. We all know once we toss a leg over the bike for our next race we may or may not see our loved ones again.
I have to ask myself why we do it.

RE: Water Leak

Good luck hope you find the leak soon.
On our 2012 fuzion 310 I found a cut in the roof around the Ac in the bed room and had to take it back to the dealer for fixing.
They had it for 4 weeks and Keystone payed for a new roof and to fix the wet wood. The dealer called a few days ago and said it's all ready to pick up.
Also he took pic's of the roof after they took off the rubber.
Here's a few pics of the cut in the rubber I found.
It looks to me that who ever installed the AC cut the rubber to big and just caulked it in.

EDIT: Fixed the size so it would fit the screen. It works better if you only specify the width, not the width and the height. :)

RE: BACKING up may end my marriage!

Practice practice practice :)
When we back up I and my wife get out and both look around for stuff we may hit.
Then I get into the truck and she stay's on the drivers side to make sure I do not hit any thing or to make sure no kids get hit.
For her its just left or right or stop.
Try backing up SLOW I found that works better for me.
Also I have my hand at the bottom of the wheel and with my thumb out and what every way your thumb is pointing is the way the rear or the trailer will go.
Also pull past you back in spot more then you think it helps a ton to.
Maybe you should try to back it in. Never know when you may need to.
Good luck.

RE: How to smooth Dicor non-leveling lap sealant

I have not used the Dicor yet on 5th wheel.
But I have caulked expansion joints for our epoxy flooring jobs for over 25+ years and I use a spoon to smooth it out and some thinner.
But we caulk with SELF-LEVELING POLYURETHANE from B.A.S.F stuff last like 10+ years if done right.
Give the spoon a try it just takes time and practice.
Also try to use some blue painters tape and leave just a little room from the place you are trying to caulk. So when you run the spoon over it and smooth it out it stays on the tape and not the rv.
Then pull the tape and you should have a clean line.
Good luck.

RE: Photography at Alb Balloon Fest

We have the Nikon 7000 its a great camera.
I looked at a few of these videos and it helped me a ton.
Nikon D7000 How To Tutorial 1
I think there are 2 or 3 videos to watch.
Here's a few pics I took from the Steel City pro motocross race a few weeks back. We took over 1,3070 pics in one day LOL.

RE: GPI Fuel Pump

GPI sent me info for a local distibutor and a number that was suggested I call so I called and they told me they had some gears that were too large that got into the pumps. The symptoms were exactly what Tileman is seeing. The guy on the phone told me to open it up and if I saw the scoring on the cover plate call them back and they would send me out new gears at no charge. I told him I was well out of warranty and I was told no problem. Hopefully it will all pan out.
Was at tractor supply today and seen they have the fuel pump that most of the toy haulers have in them. Mine was the EZ-8 Fuel Pump.
Also they had the gear kit in stock to. tractor supply

RE: Hard to understand people...

My guess is, and I maybe wrong. But I bet he did not work real hard for his money. Maybe inhereted it, etc.
So things like MH"S are of little value to him. Now the rest of us who slaved and planned and worked hard for things, we tend to appreciate and take care of our stuff

RE: GPI Fuel Pump

I took the pump off. Took out the 2 white gears #17 and ran some 100 grit sandpaper across them and then did 220 grit for a finish. You could see on the cover #19 that they where rubbing. Put it all in hit the pump button and its all working again
What's sad I just spent around $50,000 for this trailer and have only pumped maybe 35 gal and had to fix the pump so soon
I got the pump pic off a diff site thanks for who every posted it.

RE: Toy Hauler generator

The only reason we run our generator at night is for AC and for me, I find the AC more bothersome than the genny.
X2 The ac in or bed room is like a jet.
I wonder if they make one more quiet ?

RE: Generator exhaust question

I have the Genturi on our 5th wheel and the pipe that turns up (the first pc) gets hot.
I got ours on sale for like 119.00 with shipping.
I would just buy it and be done with it but that's me.
Good luck.

Old adage here why we need rules, you can not fix stupid. Even if they are not stupid we all have different values and senses of right and wrong.

RE: Ceiling Discoloration

We have a 2012 fuzion few weeks ago after a trip I was looking at the ceiling and seen dark yellow spots so on to the roof I go.
Well the pic says it all it took 3 days for me to get it to the dealer (but I did add some dicor to the rip so if it did rain I would not get more water inside) By then the spots were rust red color. My dealer just got info from keystone they are to install a new roof and any wood that needs fixing and fix the ceiling.
Hope this is not your case and is just putty.
