RE: Looking for some help deciding on which batteries.....

I bought 2 lifeline batteries last year 6v. Price sucked but I don't worry about boil overs anymore and a lot less maintenance. There are a lot of options but I liked the lifelines

RE: Bad converter?

My fridge stopped working on AC- I measured the input from the 12V supply coming from the converter and when I turned on more likes in the RV the voltage dropped to 8V- and the fridge shut off.

RE: Optima Deep Cycle

I'd skip optima batteries now, they are made by Johnson controls and aren't what they used to be in the past they had an 84 month warranty now it's only three years, in less than 5 years I had two go out in my jeep under normal use. The warranty replacement lasted less than my original, and I had to argue about the warranty and get documentary from the optima website for Costco to replace it

RE: Is Lenovo drive interchangeable with Dell?

You should plug it in and try to boot it odds it will work depending on hardware generations it won't affect your data on there and should only a few screws. Windows activation may come up but it may work. This is from some one who spends lots of times on pc's

RE: Newbie Lurker - TC Arctic Fox for Year round Living

I know frank wouldn't be too offended by that- I've known him since he was still in his fifty's and had a little more hair. And yeah sooner or later my head will look like his.

RE: Must Motor home lights be on to tow a Jeep Cherokee?

If you are curious about jeep front end wobble search on "death wobble" having seeing it a couple of times over the years while driving a early 80's small Cherokee- I needed to clean my shorts- the results are usually worn bushings on the control arms or other things- the wranglers have been known to do it with bad steering geometry with lifts- surprised to hear the newer rigs are doing it.

RE: Newbie Lurker - TC Arctic Fox for Year round Living

Great another bald guy in a big truck- I've been one frank's buddy divers over the years and watching him go from a Tear Drop with all the amenities packed in his little truck to a fully contained camper is going to be interesting. I'm not sure he's going to know what to do with all the space now. Frank- have you looked at generators or anything for auxiliary power, we should catch up and compare notes one of these days. Travis
