RE: How does something so simple gets so messed up?

If possible, check and make sure that the zerk was not pushed out of the tie rod by the ball. I've seen this happen and when it does, it is time for a new tie rod.

RE: Splendide Washer/Dryer

I'm also thinking that lint has stopped your air flow. I pulled my unit out, opened up the back to access the air flow hose on the back and found it almost completely stopped up with lint. The hose that I refer to has a large opening 3/4 inches where it is clamped onto the back of the unit. At this opening is where I found my blockage.

RE: RV Plumbing Pipe

It seems that "huntindog" and myself have the odd stuff here. My drain piping is black, but not the standard size. Make sure before you start cutting.

RE: 2008 Coachmen Encore 40QSM Information?

My coach is a 2007 Encore. I think when I got it (new), it had a little over 500 miles on the speedometer. I only have about 22,000 miles on it now, but not problems. I average about 10mpg with the 330 Mercedes and it is very adequate in moving the coach. I've had two motorhomes prior to this one powered by a 460 Ford and a 330 Caterpillar. If I had a choice, I'd go with this one.

RE: Splendide 2000 Washer/dryer leak at dryer vent

Sorry, misspelled word, "pulled" should be "plugged."

RE: Splendide 2000 Washer/dryer leak at dryer vent

Before you go out and buy a new machine or part, have someone help you pull your machine out to where you can remove the vent hose from the back of the machine. If it is pulled with lint (like mine was)you may find that the moisture is collecting at the plugged area. You will have to get it all the way out and remove a cover from the back to get to the vent hose.

RE: I wanna be COOL!!

I bought a 12000 btu unit from Home Depot. Easy installation instructions, no water to worry about. The duct can be fitted through a window very easy. I run it off an extention cord from a separate 15 amp source. It does a "great job," I'm in Phoenix, temps have been around 113.

RE: Onan Quiet Diesel 7500, Coolant leak

I've got the same problem. Rather than remove the tank, my plan is to buy a tank that I can mount outside the generator, disconnect the hoses from the hold tank and hook to the new one.

RE: Rubber Spray Sealant

Used Flex Seal two years ago, no leaks, still looks like it did the day I put it on.

RE: 2004 - 2005 Holiday Neptune 12v interior lights fluctuate

Usually by the door you have a 12 volt disconnect switch, check it or check the solenoid it operates. Ask someone that has a motorhome like yours where these items are located.

RE: Finally-my third A/C

Ok, but I've only got 50 available amps, so I guess it would be to close to tripping if I had a third unit. What brand is that?

RE: Finally-my third A/C

This is not a reply but a question about your installation. Will you be able to run all three a/c's at one time? What size is the one you installed? Thank you

RE: Clearing slide-out roof before leaving camp

I use a California duster on a telescoping pole. Even with the toppers you still get dust and small stuff, like cut grass and etc. I stand on a 6 ft. ladder and dust it off.

RE: Intellitec only showing 30A service connected to 50A. ???

You probably already know this, but on my ems there is a selector switch that you can change. Maybe yours is selected for 30 amps.

AC 15000 Low Profile Dometic Penguin

Recently had a Dometic 15000 Btu low profile AC installed replacing a 13000. After unit runs for a period of time, from one to four hours, the fan starts cycling. By cycling, it changes speed from high to low, low to high or sometimes just off and on at the what appears to be the same speed. These cycles occur on one minute internals and will not stop until the fan is taken off Auto and put on High speed. The thermostat has been changed twice as well as the circuit board on the unit. Anyone having this problem or having a solution?

RE: Lock for 2006 Coachmen Sportcoach Encore baggage compartment

You only need the latch mechanism and most Rv supply stores will have them.

RE: Cleaning Onan spark arrestor

I managed to pull one about 3 years ago, I had the generator for 5 years prior. After getting it out, it had very little soot or deposits. I decided then that I would not be pulling it out again.

RE: Adding third roof air conditioner, fitment question.

I took out a 13,500 and put in a 15,000 and can not tell a lot of difference when it's above 100 degrees. The oscillating fan will work just as good as far as I'm concerned.
