RE: BBQ Brisket

i got these tips from a world class BBQ chef that is on tour with
KCBS.com anyway this is how he cooks his to select his meat he uses IBP brand 2" thick at the small end he then takes off the hard fat also take the silver skin off then flip over and take the fat from the thick side but you have to leave some fat so don't take it all off. Use a product called FAB-B lite which is mixed at a rate of 2/3 cup fab-b lite to 22 oz of water inject in meat every 1 1/2 inches all over the meat also inject between the fat cap and the meat then use a product called hot smoking gun spice using a heavy coat
then place in the cooler for 8-9 hours
then at 8:30-9:00 pm put it in your cooker/smoker using your favorite wood to smoke it and cook over night at a temp of 194 after 8-9 hours of cooking bump up the temp to 250 and cook 2 more hours then wrap in 2 layers of foil and cook again for 2 hours at 250 then pull the foil and let sit for 20 minutes and sprinkle again with the smoking gun spice and rewrap in foil and place in a warmer until time to serve.
P.S. the Fab-B lite and the Smoking Gun spice can be found on the internet just do a search for them

RE: New Heater/Furnace Issue

i agree with the ones that said it is just the oils burning off let it run for a bit with the door open and the smell will go away mine did it too and it is also the dust that sits on the exchanger burning also mine does it every time i use it for the first time in the the season

RE: Dump station comedy jig

that is why i get up around 5am the next day after coming home and go dump that way i don't have to hurry i have the whole station to my self
We solved the problem by camping during the week. The dump stations are always empty when we leave. Who wants to haul hundreds of pounds of waste all the way home? Water is heavy.
We do have our own dump station at home but seldom need it.
well i don't go camping in a campground where there is full hooks or even a dump station i boondock so i have to bring the waste home with me( but then again i guess i could just pull the plug and let it spill all over the dirt road as i am come out of the mountains)that way i would not have to carry all the weight

RE: Wrong way to wash your RV

The white pads you see floating in the pool are what is known as pigs they soak up any oil and fuel that might have spilled into the pool

RE: Lug nut question?

are you using a torque wrench or just a lug wrench if you just using a lug wrench what is happening is you are over tightening them and stretching the threads on the studs themselves and they could be getting ready to break you need to take the wheels off and inspect the studs

RE: Sometimes Ya Just Wanna Scream!

If that would have been me i would have loaded the hitch back up in the truck and drove away and put the thing together myself at least that or would have waited to the service manger to return

RE: Hot Water Heater Problems - Weird or What?

you might try using compressed air and blow down the gas tube and up inside the burner because spiders just love to make nest in there and that will make it back-fire also check for mud duaber nests inside the burner tube.
