I have three checklists that I have been offering to anyone who wants them. Many of you have requested these over the past couple of months via email. Lately I've spent more time replying than reading this forum!
There had to be a better way......
I finally have a basic web page up and operating where you can go and download should you be interested.
It's not fancy but it works:
http://www.angelfire.com/trek/buenavistas
There are 3 checklists:
- Fifthwheel Hitching Checklist
- Pre-Delivery Checklist
- Trailer Packing Checklist
You can download either in 'text' format or Microsoft "Word" format.
I can't take credit for the checklists, as they are a consolidation from lists, recommendations and suggestions from various members on multiple forums.

Thanks a bunch! I've bookmarked that site and e-mailed the link home (I'm sneaking a peak during my lunch break...!) It couldn't have come at a better time - we pick up our new Sportsmen tomorrow morning! I searched through the forum last night and found similar lists, but it's nice to have them all in one spot!
My thanks also! Have other lists, but this puts it all in one place. We pick up our new trailer 15 April. I'm sending the link to the dealer so he can be prepared! We have a 6 hour drive to the dealer so the first part of the PDI will be in the afternoon--we then spend the night in the trailer on the lot.

Tnx for checklist Doug. Very handy to print out and would fit most RV's of anytype with maybe a few added or deleted to fit that special rig. I had a few I made up for ours, but I like yours better. C-ya on the road.

Down the Road Again.....
Hi Doug, tnk for the lists; just printed up the XL sheet and got a question-the 5W Hitch Weight; what does that use as basis? I've got the 16K Valley slider with top-side rails. I can lug the entire thing on & off (its a grunt) by myself, so I'd estimate its no more than 350-400# Another 50# for rails in the bed only gets me to 1/3 your smallest number.
Off to consolidate the various specifications right onto this spreadsheet, Nicely done.
