Last September we had a trailer accident. We think it was a bad weld in the platform that caused the problem. I put together a small web-page if you are interested in seeing our story of before and after.

Glad to see everyone got out ok.

What caused this to happen?

Our theory is that a bad weld on the platform caused it to become loose from the truck. We never found the receiver so we don't know what came off where. The platfomr was almost entirely missing. The coupler was still locked down. The 1000lb bars were snapped like pretzels and recovered.

The tow vehicle doesn't look to good either.. Was it totaled or repaired?

A replacement YUKON XL was built on Dec 23rd. I am hoping to take delivery while that 0% financing is still in place.
If there are any car dealer people out there, can you tell me if a dealer can close the deal on a vehicle if it is in transit?

I think the 0% ends on the 2nd. Maybe you could give GMAC a shout and see if there's something they can do.

Good luck

Nice rig too!!
