Jim,
Don't get the idea that I think I'm better that anyone else. Nothing could be farther from the truth. We own an old used MH, and definately don't have "The Attitude". We spend the majority of our time in state parks. These rallies are special occasions, for us, and we treat them as such. So even though we normally would pay $12.50 per night at a state park....we would pay $50 per night, if that was the rate to attend. Maybe it's not a priority for another person, and therefore the price is too high....Only the individual can determine what's right for them....Pat

First I want to appologize to Pat, I did take your statement the wrong way. Sorry.
Bagman...
I dont expect you to just think of a few, and not the majority. You have done a great job of setting this up.
My experiences with a popular CG like this are that reservations should be made months in advance to insure a space. I'm not dirt poor, but we are leaving on vacation to MD for a week next monday ( that we have planned on for months ), Christmas is around the corner and I have a trip to Arizona that I take every Feb. to see my Father. I am usually tapped out until spring.
Anyways, if a space isnt available when I can afford to reserve one, maybe I can find one some place else to camp and just be a walk-in guest for some of the festivities.
"P.S. The difference between $29 and $39....for the three days is $30....If $30 keeps you from comin' then you didn't want to come, in the first place...Pat"
No, the difference between $12.00 and $39.00 for 3 days is $81.00, enough for 3/4 of a tank of gas!
Geez, I can't even give the Bagdude a hard time!
Chuck, I see you have another new name-Bugman-, now how did you come by that?
No BUBBA NORTH! Well, that really would not fit anyway.
Chuck, we can not plan anything right now. We sure do not want to do like we did at the Tunica rally, show up driving the toad!

Since we don't have an RV at this time and I can only get wife to spend nights in trusty Coleman tent in NP's when no other accommodations are available we'll pop the big bucks for the Frankenmuth Motel. Really looking forward to meeting fellow forum members.
And I can't touch the change in the coffee can that's her casino slot money.
We will be there. Sounds like a great place. Hope the "Beast" makes it there! Really like the idea of the hotel across the street. Might put my wife and kids there so I can be myself!
Is there a fishing hole nearby?
Hope some people with like aged kids show up. (that way y'all can babysit while I sit around)
Hey stickdog, We are delighted that you are coming to Frankenmuth so we can all meet you. You can let Snoopdog stay at home as none of us are interrested in rapping! See ya in June and don't forget to keep those fingers out of the jar! Chuck/Bagman.
Jenks, If you want to call it Bubba North, its OK with me. Now when you get up here in Yankee land, you're not going to find any RV parks for $12.00/night, trust me! I realize that this is going to be a long distance for some folks and because of that distance, we will not attract as many good ole Southern boys as would a rally in Birmingham, Alabama would. We hope to get at least 40 members to come to Frankenmuth and will be pleasantly surprised if 50 or more show up. It would probably take you a day and a half to get here and a day and a half to get back home. Spend two days in Frankenmuth and that is five total days. Coming up, you can stay at the Flying J's and WalMart and Frankenmuth will cost you $78.00 for the two nights. Then stay at the J's and W-Marts on the way home. So the way I figure it, $78.00 divided by 5 days = $15.70 and that isn't too bad. Besides I want to see that class A that you were telling me about! YF, Chuck/Bagman.
I was planning on keeping quiet but Baggie had to comment on the good old southern boys from Birmingham. Does everyone know that he spent a few days in Alabama just before Tunica? Yep that's right, down here he was known as Bama-Baggie. It just seems to fit, doesn't it? We might try to make that June trip.... problem is, being from the South, I can't pronounce the place!
