I probably didnt need a diesel but when i tow im always glad i have it

I though I knew why but, I don't. Can someone refresh my memory as to why there is winter and summer blends. Why is this important.

As Jarlaxle said, cost is a factor, besides you do not need it in warmer weather anyway.
#2 diesel will generally work OK until temperatures start dropping below 15 degrees F on a constant basis. Then one can still run the #2 in the tank, but had better add some anti-gel additives to it for those times when it really drops at night to 0 degrees or colder.

Go back to the second post overall on this endless thread. $1.55 a gallon for diesel on 06/21/04. That price has nearly TRIPLED in less than eight years. Would love some stats from someone much more educated than myself on the numbers from our current "administration".
