Here is my new hauler (2000 F250, 7.3L Diesel, 6 Speed) ready for it's first trip fully loaded with camper and trailer. It was wanting to do both at the same time that I upgraded from my 98 F150 4.2L V6 5 speed that is peaking out from behind the F250. It could do one or the other but was working real hard when I asked it to do both even for local runs.

I was leaving for a show 300 miles away. The F250 did well on the 600 mile round trip delivering right at 16mpg.

v
This is my new camper, I plan on doing a bit of traveling in the near future. I will be retiring in seven mounths and plan on doing many camping trips. I will be pulling my Jeep on a trailer and camping when I get there. Next spring I will be towing and camping in Moab Utah for the 8th annual Jeeps Unlimited Run. It will be the 6th year I've made the trip (if you've got a jeep and like to do trails, look up more info on JU webb sight). I plan on doing a few more Jeep run per year through the years to come. Of course I plan on doing camping trips other than Jeep related events. Can't wait to get started
traveling and seeing the world around me.

We traded our Lance 1121 for a Host 9'6" Rainier. It is 1200 pounds lighter than the Lance and the Ford F-350 dually doesn't squat and barely knows the TC is there.

Top of the Host showing the crowned roof. We were on the ferry from Orient, NY to New London, CT having left East End Campers in Southold, NY.

Feels odd to go down two feet, lighten the load, get more inside space and more light.

Ok... I'll add one too...

Half way down, still above the fire smoke in the valley.
