Here are two more: Cape Anne Campground in Gloucestor, Mass. Another is Tri State Campground on I84 at the junction of New Jersey, New York and Penn. Both are free.

After being on the road for six months (and moving approximately every two-three weeks), OUR opinion on campground wifi is:

1 - IF you say you have "WIFI", it had better work. If it is limited to an area, or hasn't been for a long time (like Gulf Coast in Beaumont), that's false advertising.

2 - Free is NOT better, if it doesn't work. I'd rather pay (like at Rayford Crossing, at The Woodlands north of Houston) for a GREAT connection than have no access at a "free" wifi campsite. Rayford's wifi plan was $30 for 30 days. Very reasonable, very dependable, no limit on usage.

3 - Do NOT lie to us. If we check in and you tell us something like "we're having trouble with the wifi but someone's going to be fixing it soon", we trust you. But if we find out that it hasn't worked for a long time or you claim that you're using it just fine in the office....but no one else can (listen up, Gulf Coast in Beaumont), we can't wait to get out of here and will never come back. We'll also tell everyone we know.

4 - If people don't want to pay, and won't use much - let them have a limited free wifi. But for those of us whose jobs depend on such communication, offer us a $1/day plan that works, and we'll be happy.

5 - Did I mention "do not lie to us, Gulf Coast in Beaumont"?

Thanks for maintaining this list! I came across it yesterday as we were preparing to leave for Maine.

I was perusing the archives and found so much helpful information.

Thanks again!
