It doesn't interest me who you know, or how you came to be here.
I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.

I spend a few months a year at Turtle Creek in Florida. Lasy year Tengo was installed, but service was poor despite the high cost. Last month I went down for a short spell, Tengo is still giving problems and more people are using mobile phone wireless. I'm not sure of the route I will take in January, maybe take the laptop to the local coffee shop or Burger King.
Advanced RV Park on the Southeast corner of the Sam Houston Tollway and Texas 288 has WiFi. They will be open in January of 2008 just in time for the Houston Rodeo. The park looks very nice and is right next to my favorite golf course in Houston and a State Park.
Just a note on the WiFi, if any of you are going to Silver Strand SB in San Diego, Calif, just know it is not quiet and is a converted parking lot. The Ocean is beautiful as the San Diego weather, BUT our slideouts were practically touching our neighbors. We were also asked to move 1 ft after already being there two days to make room for another. (we brought in our slide out 1 ft. The back of our RV was covered with ash from our neighbors fire outside our bedroom window.
It is not very RV friendly. The only way we would ever go back to this campground is if we got a space right on the sand, (there are a few and roomier) Generator hours start are from 10AM to 8PM.
King's Acres in Regina, Saskatchewan has free WiFi. I would imagine it is better the closer you are to the main building, but had a good signal and was fairly fast. It is a nice place and has good owners. But come when it is not Winter as it is way to cold to camp here.

The Candlestick RV Park in San Francisco, CA, has wireless, but their wireless access point is in the front office--the pull through sites are at the back of the lot about 100' away, and the signal is less than 15%--I get a better connection from someone else's wireless modem that covers the park, but access is not always possible--that person apparently shuts the modem down when going to bed. I've been a repeat camper there, and suggested (and strongly recommended) that they arrange to place the access point upstairs with an antenna on the roof to provide coverage to the whole park. I don't think it's going to happend though, the asians that own the park are cheap.
