We recently purchased a 2000 model travel trailer. The inside looked brand new. The outside was another story! There were black streaks down all four sides. We tried about 15 cleaning products and found that Soft Scrub worked, but we had to really put a lot of elbow grease behind it. A co-worker of my husband's told him about a product he bought from Dollar Tree that worked well for him. We bought a bottle of it and it is AWESOME!! No, I mean that's the name of it, and it is really awesome at getting black streaks off! We found through trial and error that it works best if the Awesome is sprayed onto a dry surface and then wiped with a damp sponge. If the siding of the trailer is wet, the product is diluted and it takes quite a bit more elbow grease to remove the streaks.

I hope we are able to help someone who has the same situation we had. Now our travel trailer sparkles on the inside and the outside!

I am a true fan of AWESOME, the orange stuff from the Dollar Store. And, I am a believer of the trick of clipping wooden clothes pins at the ends of my gutters to wick the water away from the rig so black marks rarely form in the first place.
