Another hint I can at is to use the 303 protectant on the awning once it is clean and dry. I have done this on both our oul and new camper. Mold doesn't seem to want to grow on an awning coated with the 303. I coat both the outside and inside of the awning. I also do our slide toppers.
Save money and use regular bleach. All branded products are various forms of cleaners. Bleach is required to kill the spores to prevent regrowth. After that though mold comes off fine with just the hose and a brush....

An easy way to wash your awning is to use good hot soapy water get it on the awning good then roll up your awning and let it set for about 20-30 minutes (better if you do it on a warm day). Then unroll the awning and hose it off. Usually very few spots that you have to use a brush on.

A&E says to mix 1/4 cup bleach and 1/4 cup mild dish soap,like Dawn, in 5 gallons of water. Spray on the awning, then roll awning up for at least 10 min. then unroll and spray off. Worked good for me. If need be you could do it a second time.
