Perma-Plate, isn't that a polymer product just like Ziebart's 'Diamond Gloss'?
Sort of reminds me of that "wash without water" product that was selling really big a few years ago. It's all in how you market something I guess. I really like the Nu-Finish, but I'll never use it on the painted surfaces, jut the fiberglass. I only use Meguiar's products on the cab and my other vehicles.

I could not find any information giving the make up of this product. However it is not a product that you can "wash without water" it does require you to wash your MH as it gets dirty as most anyone would do anyway. It just tells you there is no need to apply a wax or polish over the product. My surface is entirely painted. I have had the product since July 2002, have not had to wax or polish for a beautiful finish and I only wash.

Perma-Plate Renewer should be applied every six months or 7500 miles, whichever occurs first. Darker colors may require more frequent applications (approximately every three months or as often as desired). This will maintain the integrity of the protective seal of the Perma-Plate Paintguard while cleaning the surface and revitalizing the shine. Perma-Plate Renewer forms a light, cohesive film which resists detergents, salt, and ultraviolet rays which can affect the painted surface. The Renewer should be applied following the instructions on the back of your Perma-Plate Paintguard warranty certificate.
Yes, but keep in mind that this is the renewer not the base product. It goes on like cross between a cream and liquid, very easy and that is it. I did it on evening after the sun went down and was finished in less than a hour. My coach is 38'. Their renewer should be more compared to a wash as it is not a polish or wax. I did not have to use the renewer for almost a year and they (perma-plate) told me that is all right it will not effect the warranty. All this might be mutt as I've been talking all along as I have a painted surface, with a clear coat finish.
When I purchased my rig it was already 7 years old and pretty heavily oxidized all the way around. It took some time but it looks great and I seem to be able to keep it this way.
Polish - Done once in the 3.5 years I have had it. I use Mothers Cleaner / Wax and a palm sized 6" orbital buffer. Terry cloth bonnet for application, a terry towel for removal and a light buff with the finishing bonnet.
Wax - A couple of times per year. ProtectAll
Wash - I use a brush with a flow through head that also has a built in soap dispenser that I picked up at the Oreck Vacuum store with Gel Gloss Wash. I then have a long handle squeegee that I drape a towel over to dry. I can be done in an hour this way.
Hope this helps!!

Sorry for the misunderstanding, I should have been more clear.
I wasn't comparing the products, as much as the hype around them.
I'm glad to hear that the product has lived up to it's hype regarding your particular application.
I grew up living with a motorhead. My brother knew about Amour All before it was in the stores. He was using Mequirs before it was on the shelf. He belonged to a modifiers club and I learned how to detail a car. Now I have a 24ft MH. I have a waxmaster buffer system. It is over 20 years old, purchased by my wife on my birthday, but still works quite good. I use it twice a year at least. Takes me about 2 hours to buff the whole surface and areas that the buffer misses. I then use a chammie to wipe it off when it rains or after I rince it off. I have been washing it with Star RV wash and wax and also Protect All. I really like the protect all. It is a solid product. I have found that if you keep it clean then the detail project is easier.
