Ghost, those look deeeeeeeeelicious. Next time we go to Mexico, I'll have to take some pics of our shrimp meals. The little ones we get there are the diameter of my thumb.

I don't take very good pictures, but I do love the look on our oldest daughter's face - this was taken after her oldest received his First Communion earlier this month. She's not too proud

I know it's been a while since Pat posted this, but I wanted to post pictures from JP's First Communion earlier this month. I wasn't planning on posting these but Pat's picture prompted me to post. Thanks Pat!

Thanks for that info Rubi. Well, this tree isn't so skinny
but it has been dated back to Monroe's time.

A different (better) view of it:

Edited to Add: This is a white oak tree, twenty feet in circumference, planted well over a century ago.

Tuli - I meant to comment on your pictures of this tree. What a neat tree and great pictures! I'm glad you had a wonderful trip.

What wonderful photo's, Marites! A special occasion for a special family.

JP is a handsome little guy. I loved the shot with his buddy, too!

By the way, you must be doing something really right...you look like one of the "kids."

Great pics Marites, I love this one. This is a picture I'd save and take a "same pose" of the two say 10 years later.....

I agree with Papaw! Another one of these boys together as teens would be wonderful and I'll be watching for it! :-) And I hope JP wears his white tie - I love it! Marites, please tell JP that his "RV.net family" is very proud of him.

And I'll be watching for Elena's First Communion pictures, which will happen all too fast for her Mama! :-)
