Caught this guy/girl (didn't get close enough to check that part out) going through our yard about 3 wks. ago. As much as I begged him/her to stay put until I got my camera, it did no good so I ended up taking the pic out of our back window through the screen. Sure got my heart pounding though... pretty good size for a bobcat. We've had one mountain lion go through the yard but I wasn't even close to my camera that day. see ya. Peace,Cheryl

wow, yes, they're showing now..... thanks! Amazing... goes from dog to cat (who are not suppose to be able to get along)
from cat to bird (who are not suppose to be able to get along)
from bird to cats in the same room.....(who are waaay not suppose to be able to get along)...... It makes me smile and my heart sing to see such pictures seeing evidence that beings, no matter what species, can get along if the conditions so permit. Thanks for sharing.... Peace,Cheryl

Onto the Mik Farm Animals!
This is Larry in the chicken coop (should have been named Loretta, but we didn't know!)

And here's Rufus (or, as Abby calls him, Dufus)

Of course, we can't forget about Fred! Here, he's resting under the apple tree . . .

Hidey Ho! Look what we found in the coop!

Not really a "pet" but we have so many swallows here that I thought it'd be neat to take a picture of one of their "mud" nests in the barn . . .

More to come!

We live by COE property, bordering woods that adjoin a big lake. I have only seen one bobcat in the yard, not nearly that big! Wow! There is rumor of a mountain lion sighting in the woods, too...I hope I never see it.
The other day, I was thrilled to see a baby armadillo on the front sidewalk when I went out. Lots of folks have never seen a live one!
Julie, love the geese pics!

Julie, thanks for the farm tour.
Bohemians, welcome, nice pics. please keep posting.
Jaybird, are those strawberries or tomatoes?
Kenny, it gets easier every picture to see those little ladies are going to need PawPaw to guard them real soon.

In keeping with the animal theme that is going.
here are a few of the horses used in the Dixie Stampede.

There are about 25 or so horses in the show. these are just a few. No cameras allowed inside so this is as good as it gets.
