Cheryl - Amazing shot of the bobcat in your yard! Do you have to worry about your pets? And was that a real magazine cover, or did you make that for Mrs Whim? Just GREAT!

Well, Bonnie, I can see why all the girls were handing out hugs.... he is one good looking kid and if I was in school with him... I'd be gushing all over him too....
That's not a real mag cover...I think in the bottom right corner is the name of the website where you upload a picture and pick out the magazine cover that you want to use with it. They just came out with a bunch of new covers..it's pretty cool.
As for animals up here on the mountain, we don't have any. We put our deeply loved kitty, Ootek to sleep in January '07. He went into kidney failure from that poisoned food issue. Of everything we could have been feeding him, we were feeding him food that was on the list. So we still haven't recovered from that. I don't know that we'll ever get another pet... losing him was just too painful. But believe me, I've wondered the very same thing about how people have pets up here.
here's our kitty... he was named after a character in the Disney movie, "Never Cry Wolf"...excellent movie if you've never seen it. see ya. Peace,Cheryl
Ghost.... beautiful work...colors are excellent

Kenny - Great "company" pics!
Randy - Did the coordinates work for you?
Julie - Lots of great animal pics!
Cheryl - That's one big bobcat!
Art & Preacher - Real nice horse pics!
WC - Nice pic of Morgan and you!
Don - What a fun picture of you and the girls in the pool!
Tuli - I see Bart!
Bonnie - Nice pics of Andrew playing in the musical!
Ghost - Fantastic House Finch picture!
Woodburner - Nice spin on your picture!

Thank you for the warm welcome back from my camping trip! It's nice to be back with friends! And, I also appreciate the picture compliments! Here are a few more from my trip last weekend.

I was camped within walking distance of Windfall Spring. The spring popped above ground and ran for a few hundred yards down a gentle hill. This was just one of many spots where the water just trickled along on it's way.

An animal contribution!

I'm glad everyone liked my night picture at camp! Here's another one I took earlier the same evening. A bigger campfire produced more orange light!

Cheryl - I just missed your post while I was working on mine. I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your kitty, Ootek.

A friend of mine went to San Diego recently. He emailed tonight with this picture he took with his Nikon D300. Nice shot!
