Pics from Shasta Dam. In the one pic you can see the "three Shasta's." Shasta Dam, Lake Shasta and in the smoky haze you can just make out Mount Shasta.

The owner of this beautiful 1964 De Ville is in the bottom pic, wearing the cowboy hat. He was very proud of the car and loved driving it. Caddy convertables are one of my favorite cars and to see one in such nice shape being driven brought joy to my heart. It took the owner about 15 years to fully restore the car and it was in great shape.

Yup! That's my dog Brandy I miss him. He was almost 16 when we had to put him down

Best digital shot I have of him. This was Christmas of 2002 and he was gone in September 2003. He always stayed by the youngest grandchild. Very protective.
Evan looks very healthy and patriotic! Keep drinking, baby. Fatten up.

We had a lot of people over yesterday, including Sullivan's other grandparents. Here's one of Sullivan's other grandma, Sullivan, & Anna {My unmarried daughter}.

More pictures of Sullivan are in the New Blue Bell thread & the railroad buff thread.

ARTR1955 - I don't think that the red flower is Bergamot/Bee Balm. If it is, being a mint it will have a square stem and the leaves when crushed will have a strong aroma. Pretty flower, I wish that I could ID it.

We camped on a friend's property this week for the 4th!

These were our camping "neighbors"! They LOVED Cheetos!! And kept a very close eye on us.

This was our 'campsite'

Went to Fort Benning This morning to watch the Rangers Graduation Ceremony. It was great.

We did not know any one who graduated we just wanted to go watch the guys.

Thanks so much for posting those pics. I hope to be there the last of August, but I will know at least one of the guys graduating , my son! I think it is so awesome, that you went, just because you could. Our Soldiers are great, and will make you so proud.
